Things Are Going To Change Though. "Soon, Very Soon"...

My first contact with a color TV was when I was about six, if my memory doesn't fail on me, and by that time we got to have cable TV as well. It was Cartoon Network all day every day and my eyes were practically burning during evenings, pretty much the same as they do now with all the social media related activity that I do on a daily basis.

When I grew up I started to not only use it for movies and music, but gradually become a politics shows consumer as well and was trying to have a grasp of the world through the established media outlets that we had in the country. By tenth grade realized it's just crap and quit watching TV almost entirely. I had only occasionally and accidentally watched television, but not on my own device and out of my free will.

Social media kind of started with yahoo messenger for me, but the real taste of it was offered by hi5. It didn't last long because facebook came into play and the rest is history. Social media started as a sort of show off, staying in touch with family, dating app. It kind of had a bit of everything that made it social. It evolved over time however and it's a force now.

It can be used to influence elections or to cut the cords of communication of powerful men around the world as in the case of Donald Trump. To some extent social media has become a sort of a media as during some circumstances and events you get more info about the problem from facebook or twitter as you do from your CNBC, FOX news, or whatever the hell they have on TV these days.

There's online media outlets putting the work out as well, but those are owned by the same crooked ones owning the established outlets. Somehow the average Joe has become a reporter since this whole thing started, editor and channel of mass information, as often times disturbing truths are shared mostly through social media and not the traditional media. These guys have nothing to lose and don't serve anyone so they simply load up on the internet plat what's happening around the world.

Facebook, twitter and whatever other well established social media app are owned by some entity and it runs on centralized servers, hence the ones having big mouths and fast fingers offering themselves to be the truth fighters on the internet can be censored at the push of a button. See here the cases of Donald Trump, wallstreetbets and many other crypto content creators that got censored by the elites. It's that simple, because the power is in their hands.

When you have social media apps built on decentralized blockchains, as Hive is for example, there's no control over one's thoughts, ideas and messages spread online coming from any entity. Nobody can censure my account here and I can share with you guys whatever I feel like. There are cases when users abuse of this marvelous right, but those are rare and can be easily muted.

Social media has become a media, but not that media. Often times you get the real picture of events and the whole truth from alternative sources, and here you have plenty of fakes and lies from the covid plandemic that have been exposed by people all over the world, just through a couple of tweets or facebook posts. Often times though the machineries indirectly programmed by the elites are putting down such truth spreaders. They don't want the society to be smart, or free.

Project Blank, which I am highly excited about, is about to be launched "soon, very soon" as Khal(@khaleelkazi) commented on a post of mine yesterday. Now, the way I see it this app will be the perfect twitter and as @taskmaster4450 tweeted a few hours ago it will bring tons of traffic on the Hive blockchain.

Why do I believe it's the perfect microblogging app?

Because it takes all the goodies from twitter and does them better. Short form content is what spins the planet. A tweet can crash markets and put millions under terror, but it can also drive the vibe up and bring peace back on earth in seconds. The more the likes and shares the viral it becomes. Leofinance's microblogging app does that better, because you have the app built on a decentralized blockchain.

This meaning that there's no authority trying to censor truth seekers and spreaders, you have a tokenomy that incentives users to be active and can be used to make certain posts viral or send them into oblivion. Whatever you find flawed on twitter and facebook is carefully polished and done right on Hive. All this app needs once it's launched is a lot of shilling and sooner than later millions will use it.

I bet @nathanmars will weigh heavy on that matter as he has proved to be the best Hive word spreader I am aware of so far. The sun of total decentralization and power in the hands of the people is just rising on the sky and it would be a pity to ignore it. That was about it for now, hope you have a great day ahead and see you to the next one.
