This coin was trending hard today, partly thanks to WSB. I bought $100 worth at $0.000003778 USD because why not.

You miss all the shots you don't take.

It's been a while since I've made any degen plays, and I can afford to lose this $100 if it doesn't work out.

For documentation purposes I'm dropping the price feed below, will be helpful in remembering what I paid for it down the road when it's worth $1 a coin 😜.

If you believe it hard enough it comes true right? That's how this works doesn't it.

But we do get some additional info here. For example SAFEMOON has almost 3/4 of a Million holders, not a bad start, a user base is a good thing.

I think today there was even a trading volume in the area of $200M, how trendy. So I'm now holding just over 27M coins (27,002,236.703) to be exact, let's do this baby!

Buying Small Coins Is Risky

Small market cap/experimental coins are typically super risky, but with the risk comes hopefully a good reward.

Small cap coins like HIVE should only comprise a very small portion of your portfolio, like 1-2% max. There's a place in the portfolio for these projects, and I loves me a good experimental coin but to a limit.

What is SafeMoon?

The SafeMoon Protocol is a community driven, fair launched DeFi Token. Three simple functions occur during each trade: Reflection, LP Acquisition, & Burn.

This video is a fairly quick review and worth watching if you somewhat interested. SAFECOIN is a DeFi protocol project, and that link will take you to their whitepaper if you're so inclined.

SAFEMOON Features:

  • Static Yield Rewards
  • Manual Coin Burns
  • Automatic Liquidity Pool

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFh6zCrpokQ

That Static Yield feature is pretty cool, as you earn yield just from holding the token. With every buy and sell there is a 10% "tax" with half of that going to holders and the other 50% used to buy BNB and inject BNB and SAFEMOON into the LP on PancakeSwap.

The road map is pretty ambitious and includes additional elements of DeFi, an NFT exchange, blockchain gaming, decentralized governance, and even a potential charity.

Available on PancakeSwap

There's a BNB pair on Pancakeswap which you can find if you look around (using the contract address). I'm not saying to buy this speculative shit token, definitely probably you mostly don't want to do that.

How will this go over the next 6 months?

A) It's worth next to nothing. B) Break even and call it a day. C) It goes to 0.005 cents and I buy a Tesla.

Ciao for now,
