Let's Talk & Win! - Winners! [Boosting Engagement]
Recently I announced that I would have an on-going "contest" where people would have a chance of earning LEO for making comments on my content. It's my way of "giving something back" to the community while I am trying to increase the overall engagement. I give away 5 LEO in total, twice per week for starters, but I've already been thinking about doing something different shortly. It will continue like it has until next Wednesday 2021-04-14 though. I might do some changes after that, but I haven't decided yet.
You can read about it here: Let's Talk & Win! Continues - Boosting Engagement

I ignored a plagiarist from participating in this contest. So there should have been 31 people in total.
Instead of just giving each user a number, I did something entirely different to make this as fair as possible, while still being 100% random. I actually made it even more random by doing this!
The participants above have each been given a number. That number is based on the order of the comments in my articles. So, the first comment on the first post since I announced "round 2" of this is taskmaster4450le. The second one is natalia-irish and so on.
With a total of 30 people, I decided to give each participant a random number. I used random generator and entered 1 - 30 and pressed generate like shown below:
This makes things even more random, as #1 suddenly becomes #3. I did this a lot of times. (You can't imagine how often you roll the same number more than once when you generate random numbers...)
Anyhow, I did this just to get each user a truly random number. After I had been generating new numbers for each participant, the list looked like this instead:

taskmaster4450le | #3 | |

RANDOM WINNERS
When I had done all of this, I started to roll the 5 random numbers. The winning numbers this time are:
In other words: frankbacon, evernoticethat, tfranzini, bitcoinflood and alexvan.
I do this in an attempt of bringing more attention towards real & active engagement which reflects a healthy and thriving platform. The long haul goal is to take some of the awesome amount of engagement from the daily posts from @leomarkettalk and push some of that elsewhere instead. I have plans for how to grow this thing into something even better with time, so starting with my own posts are just the beginning.
This is definitely a lottery. The cost is a single comment to get a ticket. The tickets are powerful and meaningful and it will boost the overall engagement with time. The outcome is a thriving and active community that will attract more content creators.
- Engagement is key.
The third set of prizes will be sent on Wednesday 2021-04-14 and comments from this post is eligible.
