One of the worst things about Romania is the roads... We have underdeveloped road infrastructure and overcrowded streets, and you can see proof of that every big holiday when visitors from these areas head back home.
The congestions that form around towns near the main roads are long as fuck. Everything comes to an end, and so does the Easter holiday weekend. We went from a town full of people to an almost deserted ghost town in literally hours.
I really enjoyed this Easter, to be frank about it. I enjoyed it so much that I had like four beers last night. Didn’t get much sleep because of that—I'm not used to drinking and almost threw up, but no regrets here…
The Easter after-party was decent enough too. We had something like 25 degrees Celsius at noon, and because of the beautiful weather, I got to spend a few solid hours out in the sun again. We even got a bit of summer rain in the late afternoon.
But, what about the pic?
Well, I took it from one of the highest points you can reach by car in this town. You get a stunning panorama from up there, and the land is for sale… They're asking something like $50,000, if I remember correctly, for around 300–400 square meters—which is kinda spicy imo.
But damn, the view is great…
The town looks awful once the tourists and former inhabitants leave—streets empty, dirty… I’ve been living on autopilot for like eight years now, and I feel like I need a change.
I’ll probably miss this place once I head off to foreign lands again, but I gotta do it. I’m starting to feel trapped here, and I don’t like that. My horizons are too limited in this place. So yeah, by late 2025 I gotta make a move. I gotta dust off my boots and hit the road once again.
This whole time of peace and loneliness had its charm, but change has to come—and it has to come pretty soon… Meanwhile, I’m hoping we get an altcoin season like in 2021 or 2017, so I can change tracks with heavy pockets.
Leaving home with empty pockets again would be shitty as fuck. I guess by the end of the year we’ll have our altcoin season resolution. If not… I’m out for good from the crypto space.
