There have been quite a few rumors running around about Apple dipping their toes into the cryptocurrency world. We've had Tesla that for a couple of months offered the Bitcoin payment option for its EVs, but Elon changed his mind and we basically have no relevant company in the world right now using cryptos as payment currencies.

Apple might be the next giant to bite into the crypto world as reported by Decrypt. A new job listing indicates that Apple may finally be exploring cryptocurrencies for its payment services and can't imagine a more bullish news than this one right now after the Tesla and China FUD lately.

Apple is seeking a business development manager with "5+ years experience working in or with alternative payment providers, such as digital wallets, BNPL, Fast Payments, cryptocurrency. This position will be responsible for the end-to-end business development, including screening partners, negotiating and closing commercial agreements, and launching new programs." source

Apple is definitely onto something and crypto might be in their menu next. I don't know how you guys see this news, but I believe it's massively bullish. Apple is putting tech in the hands of millions around the world. Imagine those millions having access to crypto and especially crypto payments through their iPhones.

Despite the doom and gloom clouds floating over this space, looks like the crypto train is steaming forward and it's becoming unstoppable. Governments seem to be trying their best to get their hands on crypto and control of it as much as possible, but all their efforts look like failure after failure after failure.

My gut feeling tells me that in the not so distant future we will gonna experience a new type of FOMO and that will be the FOMO of giant tech companies integrating crypto in their OS and offering their users the crypto payments options and also becoming on and of ramps for cryptocurrencies.

Talking centralized entities, whether exchanges or payments services, I'd say that once we will see Apple, Samsung and other smartphone manufacturers making crypto an easily usable currency and asset, CEXs will gradually use their power and scarcity. I was talking in a previous post about ease of use that should be the next big thing in crypto mass adoption and here we have a potential new step towards achieving that.

This century is gonna be a technological one, tech companies know that as they're the locomotives of this resolution and only a fool would miss such an opportunity of integrating crypto in their ecosystems. I bet Apple won't be the Nokia of the 2020's... What do you think, how long will it take until we will be able to pay with crypto using our smartphones as we are able to do with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and others, but by using cash?

Thanks for attention, Adrian
