Here I submit some macro images for the current #monomad challenge. Just a lone grasshopper spotted during my afternoon walk yesterday. I have no idea whether it was shy or scared. Now and then, it tried to hide its face behind a weed stem. It could have easily escaped my view, but it stayed there. It watched me so seriously while I kept shooting its face. I expected it to smile, but it didn't even flinch when I threw it a smile. I'm running out of ideas to make this guy smile.
