Everybody is familiar with Instagram. You post your photos and sometimes your friends give you "hearts" that have absolutely no monetary value. Guess who owns your content too? Yep, META, a private company that makes millions from your data and controls what you see and what you can say.
@liketu is a dApp built on the HIVE protocol, a decentralized, open-source system, similar to NOSTR, that incentivizes node operators and community members can show support to each other via upvotes with monetary value.
The interface, as you can see from this image, is clean and user friendly and because it's hosted on a decentralized protocol, nobody can shut you down, control the narrative or lock you out of your account.
