HI! ANNYEONG! KONNICHIWA HIVERS! It’s @angelwwingss again and today I’m going to share with you my experience in my Cookery NC2.
So, yesterday was my schedule for Cookery NC2. Our instructor told us that we must arrive at school within 6 am because our assessor will arrive at 7am. I woke up around 4:30 am to prepare my things that are needed for my Cookery NC2. After that, I went to the bathroom to take a shower and then change my clothes, ate my breakfast, and did my make up; because I need to cover my eyebags as I wasn’t able to sleep early because I had an insomnia the night before my Cookery NC2.
It was around 6:13 when I left our house. I ask my father to drive me to my university because I’m scared to be late, and I know that there will be many passengers waiting for the jeepney’s too. Luckily, my father was very willing to drive me to my university. We stop by the gasoline station because there’s only 1 bar of gasoline left in my sisters’ motorcycle. It was around 6:54 when I arrived in my university, I was about to enter when the guards stopped me and ask me what’s my business inside the school. I told them that I’m going to take my NC2 in Cookery today. Apparently, our instructor didn’t give them a letter for our NC2 that day because the school days had ended and we need to print the letter and the list of students who’s going to take that day too in order for us to enter the school.
I went straight to the kitchen where our NC2 is going to be held. When we arrived there, the two ladies who is going to help us with our assessment that day told us to put our things away from the table and get the equipment’s that we need for our NC2 Cookery n the cabinets and just list it in the notebook. After preparing the equipment’s that I needed, I started changing my clothes to my chef’s gown, apron, hairnet, and chef’s hat. After a while, our assessor arrived and gave us some instructions on what to do during our NC2 and the dishes that we must cook. After that, we had an attendance, and he only gave us 2 hours to cook and prepare all the things that we need to pass our NC2 in Cookery. And once he said stop, we must stop whether we’re finish with our dishes or not. We were not allowed to use our cellphones during the process of making our dishes as we are being recorded during those time.
It was exactly 10:30 am when we finished our assessment, oral questioning, and other stuff that needs to be done. Our assessor was very strict and during that time he told us that there were 3 who was given a chance to take the oral questioning again as they couldn’t answer in the first take. After a few explanations, he announced that WE ALL PASSED the NC2 Cookery and we are all competent. One of my classmates cried because she taught that she might not be able to pass our NC2, but I comforted her that we all passed and that’s what matters the most. All our hard works has paid off. Before we went to our different ways, we cleaned and wash the dishes first and count all the equipment’s there that we borrowed and used during the process. We also did some TikTok dance before we left.
Since our NC2 ended early, I stopped by in Gaisano Mall to buy a drink because I was really thirsty and I was also craving for a blueberry fruity drink. I went inside the Little Tea and ordered a blueberry drink for dine in. I stayed there for like a couple of minutes before heading out. I rode a motorcycle on the way home and it was really hot that day. Even the wind was hot too. It was like a blower was blowing my face, that’s how hot the wind was.
When I arrived at home, my friend messaged my other friend that she wants her nails done the next day, and it gave me an idea that I should get my nails done too to reward my self for passing my NC2 Cookery; since we were not allowed to have long nails while cooking for hygiene purposes and to avoid any spread of bacteria on the food. I message my friend that I want my nails done too and I went to her house around 6 pm. I asked my father to drive me again to my friends’ house and he drove me there. I arrived at there house quarter to 6. My dad told me to message him if what time he is going to fitch me again.
My friend started preparing her things that are needed for my nails, and she started doing my nails around 7pm already. While she preps my nails and cleaning it, she asked me to tell her about what happened during my NC2 and how my day went by. I told her everything, while scrolling to her iPad and looking for an inspo for my nails since I haven’t decided yet what nails I’m going to get.
It was 8 pm already when she started putting color and designing my nails. I let her do a freestyle design since I was still undecided on what design I want but choose the colors of my nails. It was around 9 pm when she finishes all my nails and took some pictures to post it. I stayed there for a couple of hours, and we also did some TikTok before my sisters’ boyfriend fitch me in my friend’s house.
