Brilliant open mic last night in Gravely.
I really wanted to join the Jammers especially as they wanted to discuss our own open mic but there were two, one in St Neots and another in Gravely which I couldn't resist and it turned out to be fabulous and a very lucky choice!
We were supposed to have four songs each but as we decided to do duets we thought we might be cheeky and get an extra one out; amazingly was our host Aimi pretty quick to let us do eight instead! Brilliant!
There was a very receptive audience in the pub and we were asked for a business card after our set, funny that, isn't it? We could show her a picture of things to come at least. They're ordered. 🙄
Anyway, we have a gig next Friday! YAY!
Aimi P is well known locally and is very supportive taking loads of pictures of us to use on our pages.. Fantastic outcome all round!
John and I did "More Than Words" together but I always mess up the ending as Steve and I normally play the shorter version.. I think he's going to sort that out for next time.
