To make this version of the character I based on the colors and some features of its original design placing it in an aquatic environment and surrounded by vegetation. Next I show you how I did it.
Hola a toda la comunidad de Holozing, que tal se encuentran en el día de hoy. En esta ocasión les traigo este fan art inspirado en la criatura Gemino. Para realizar esta versión del personaje me basé en los colores y algunas características de su diseño original ubicándolo en un ambiente acuático y rodeado de vegetación. Enseguida les muestro como lo realicé.
I started this design with a pencil sketch, using different brushes for the lines, drawing first his eyes, mouth and head. Then the rest of his body including his characteristic gems in the shell and to finish this stage the mountainous landscape covered with deep vegetation and the lake in which he is partially submerged.
Comencé este diseño con el boceto a lápiz, utilizando diferentes pinceles para los trazos de las líneas dibujando primeramente sus ojos, boca y cabeza. Luego el resto de su cuerpo incluyendo sus gemas en el caparazón que tanto lo caracterizan y para culminar esta etapa el paisaje montañoso cubierto de una vegetación profunda y el lago en el que se encuentra parcialmente sumergido.

Then I added the reflections starting with the eyes and the gems growing on its shell, followed by the reflections on the lake, using a varied set of tools such as the soft and strong airbrush, the fountain pen and the soft contour pen making it come to life and giving it a touch of realism and beauty.
