Hace varias semanas les compartí un post sobre el comienzo de mis pasantias en Fisioterapia, quería desde ese entonces documentarles un poco de mi proceso, pero motivado a que en serio el teléfono que tengo no tiene una buena cámara y la rutina apretó como no imaginan, no pude compartir más hasta ahorita. Sin embargo, el último día (el pasado viernes) le pedí a mi compañera que me permitiera sacarme unas fotos con su celular, porque de alguna forma quería recuerdos de este primer periodo de prácticas profesionales, jaja.
Fue muy bonita la experiencia, me demostró lo mucho que de verdad quiero ejercer esa carrera. Me llena el alma poder ser parte del proceso de recuperación de alguien más, ayudar a aliviar dolores, a recuperar funcionalidad e influir en mejorar el estilo de vida para evitar recaídas. Es una responsabilidad muuy grande, los pacientes se llegaron a convertir en prioridad, a diario investigaba sobre las diferentes patologias que estaba tratando, que es lo mejor en cuanto a tratamiento y ejercicios para hacer el abordaje lo mejor posible. Logré terminar de dar de alta a cuatro pacientes, o sea, es muy gratificante... hoy día de los halagos más lindos para mi es que me digan que mis manos son sanadoras🥺, acompañado de un gracias, por ya sentirse mejor...
Ese último día las despedidas pegaron un poquito, los pacientes no querían que nos fuéramos, a una de ellas se le salieron lágrimas; nos regalaron detalles como postrecitos y dieron abrazos muy lindos. Entre lo agotador que fue, me gustó mucho vivir todo de forma plena, ya me queda solo esperar a los demás períodos de pasantias y ver una materia pendiente para obtener mi primer título, así que bueno, mantenemos el enfoque. Several weeks ago I shared with you a post about the beginning of my internship in Physiotherapy, I wanted since then to document a little of my process, but motivated by the fact that the phone I have does not have a good camera and the routine tightened as you can not imagine, I could not share more until now. However, the last day (last Friday) I asked my partner to let me take some pictures with her cell phone, because somehow I wanted memories of this first period of professional practices, haha.
It was a very nice experience, it showed me how much I really want to practice this career. It fills my soul to be part of someone else's recovery process, to help relieve pain, to recover functionality and to influence in improving the lifestyle to avoid relapses. It is a very big responsibility, the patients became a priority, every day I researched about the different pathologies I was treating, what is the best in terms of treatment and exercises to make the best possible approach. I managed to finish discharging four patients, that is, it is very gratifying... today one of the nicest compliments for me is to be told that my hands are healing🥺, accompanied by a thank you, for feeling better...
That last day the farewells hit a little bit, the patients did not want us to leave, one of them had tears in her eyes; they gave us gifts like little desserts and gave very nice hugs. Between how exhausting it was, I really enjoyed living everything to the fullest, now I just have to wait for the other internship periods and see a pending subject to obtain my first degree, so well, we keep the focus.
