I have been reading a lot of books over the last year. I have my audibles subscription. I don't purchase physical books and read, and I cannot even read a book. But I listen to a lot of audiobooks. Many books have nice information, and I mostly pick books based on their ratings. I buy books with the credits I get every month. Sometimes, the books that I choose can get very boring, and I end up reaching an urge to complete them.
I mostly listen to books that talk more about money and finance. I used to wonder why it is very difficult to read books. But the good thing is that I can listen to some good books even though I don't have the habit or patience to sit and read books. Books talk a lot about personal finance. It has a lot of information on the same. But it is also true that not everyone can follow whatever is being said about money and become rich.
Money-related books
There are a few books that are very popular, and directly starting to read those books is also good but at the same time, reading some simple books to understand more about money and savings, and then moving to other money-related books is a good thing. I have to say that some books are very boring, and picking the right book makes it easier to listen to books. Sometimes we might learn many things from books like these.
I remember Rich dad and Poor Dad being my first eye-opener for reading books. I did learn a lot from that book, and my perspective about money changed completely. But I think just one time listening may not be sufficient to learn all the concepts in building wealth. Also, there are so many such books out there can can also be read.
Successful people read more books
I have heard this from many people. Rich people or people who have the flair to get rich usually spend most of their time on valuable things. They don't spend time on unwanted activities and mostly the primary focus will be on finding avenues to make money. There is one good strategy. If we want to become rich or be successful, we have to be with people who have already done that.
