hello holo~~ I was looking at the dragon characters I haven't drawn yet and I thought I would try to do terraox since I don't think I've ever tried something similar to a dinosaur.

So I didn't take that many progression shots of this one because I was distracted XD I was caring for the cat and I was also drawing with my man sooo not much focus there and not much detailing I could do because both my hands were busy with my pen and with the cat XD
I started with the environment on this one and I said I would stick with sketching for this one because it was night time and I had to sleep soon UwU
I did appreciate the more sketching brushes on gopaint because some of them feel like color pencils and they do layer up to their true color pretty nicely UwU
This was some 40 minutes in and my sister took the cat from my bed so they could have some cuddle time. After that, I got to fully focus and just went straight into drawing until I finished. I actually finished faster than my boyfriend who was still doing his brain drawing studies UwU and I like the little brain monsters he's been drawing.
For the most part, I only used the 6B pencil brush, I just kept changing the opacity and the pencil thickness to fill in the shadows.
And that is how we got to this pount with fine details and highlights and all OwO and I am really happy about where this went.
That's all from me for today. I have a hectic Monday and I hope it doesn't get this bad tomorrow too ;;-;; I still need to get home to my cat to make sure he takes his antibiotics by evening because I already gave him his morning does before I left for work.
