Conclace Arcana is around the corner, finally! In the last week, there have been a lot of teasers for the upcoming set, and those got me even more excited! My favorite so far (may the Happy Quokka forgive me) is this one, which Blaze posted on twitter the other day:

I mean, look at this beast. 5 AP, 6 Shield, 5 LP, 3 Speed.

Abilities at max: Charge, Piercing, Bloodlust.

Debilitation: Hot hot hot! Too hot! Burning.

This beautiful beast costs only 3 Mana, and is - obviously - a Dwarf, meaning that the Dwarf summoner gives this one an extra ability - I think it was Void Armor? I couldn't find the card, but I'll try and edit. Or if you have it, please post it in the comments!

Anyway. So, this card can be placed anywhere and will still attack. You have to wish that it hits, because 3 speed is not much. But if it does - especially in Little League - it will probably be a fatal punch, giving him bloodlust. This card needs bloodlust to survive more than 3 rounds, that's the downside. But for that mana cost? It's like the Halfling, which is so cheap that the debilitation doesn't matter.

But Weary is not Burning. The Blazebeard Merc can actually spread the fire. BUT with Conclave Arcana, that can be a good thing, because Painforge made/will make its way into the meta.

So, you can place the Merc next to a monster with Painforge or Enrage to make your team push through the pain and blindly lash out against everything around them. Unfortunately, Martyr is not a Modern-Ability anymore - but for Wild this will be another great combo to use the Merc in.

The new Abilities really DO wonders. Have you seen the latest videos by @thepeoplesguild posted on twitter? They show some of the new abilities - and they are going to shake the meta. It will take me a while to practice, and I'm envious of those who have that sneak-preview-privilege and can already see what works. But I'm a quick study, just wait and see...

I like the arrows that explain what's going on. The Tank-Legend on both sides has Resurgence:

For a tank, that's really powerful! Even worse - they also have the Heloise-Kill-Mode-Switch: Spite. Mondroid's No.2 has Painforge, the one I mentioned - perfect for the Poison-Ruleset. And this video answers one of my questions : Yes, Painforge stacks with each Burn/Poison damage. That Merc is going to do wonders!

More info on Painforge - it's also triggered by Reckless and Electrified! Look at how Bjangles team goes beast-mode by auto-inflicting pain. No chance for the Clayboyn-Team, even though that double-heal/rear-cleanse unit is something to be really scared of. Giving it Repair and Cleanse as well was certainly a good move, but the Painforge was too powerful.

I used the Shock-Trooper and the Conjurer before to trigger Enrage or to make a Martyr go down faster, but this is a whole other level. Combining Painforge with the Merc will be one of the first Combos that I want to try - if I can get the right cards in my packs. HIVE spiked today, so I bought 10k DEC more, and am going to get my second Alchemy Pack, soon!

It may all be hype - but I'm having a ton of fun being hyped right now ๐Ÿ˜
