Second part of the breeding grounds for these succulents, orchids and many other plants. In this section, the focus is on flowers. Flowers are an interesting trait of plants. It basically their reproductive organ. They are a way to measure the maturity of a species and they also mean there will be more plants of the same species to keep carrying their genetic material.
For humans, flowers are a symbol of life. In March, when Spring comes around and brings forth the renewal of life on the northern hemisphere, flowers of many kinds open from theirs buds. They are beautiful and also the bane of the existence of people with seasonal allergies. Flowers are also a token of affection. Seems fitting since they are basically the reproductive organ of plants. Think about it, you bring both organs as a token of love to someone special. Sex is everywhere. Even in plants.
The little flowers sprouting from cacti are an amazing and delicate feature. It reminds is that even the harshest conditions can bring up something beautiful. It's like lotus flowers opening in swamps.
And the orchids are just truly amazing. They are definitely more delicate as their conditions for giving flowers require constant care and attention.
Flowers are something else.
