Braves New Built In Crypto Wallet

I've been using brave for years and I love it! Not only is it more secure to use for every day use but you also get a few non intrusive ads each month that end up landing you BAT token the utility token of brave.

This last year Brave has really been upping their game in terms of releasing new features and partnerships with other platforms and cryptos. This constant and quick advancement has been skyrocketing the price of BAT token as of late.

As of writing this post BAT is now trading at $1.09 far above it's value a year ago or even two years ago. I kind of miss those months of making 50+ brave just from using the browser.

How To Access The Brave Wallet

You'll first need to have the latest version of Brave browser which at the time is v1.32 you can type in brave://wallet to access it directly or by clicking on the wallet icon in the top right on the address bar.

On here you'll see crypto wallets tab on the far right. Click on this and you will now have access to your wallet. I have to admit it looks A LOT like metamask (which it is lol) which sadly I hate using lol the UI is ugly AF and reminds me of some old school windows 95 application.

What Functions Does Brave Wallet Offer?

The primary function is that the wallet should be more secure and less CPU intensive since it's built right into the browser and not a plugin that has to be added.

The other functions are how you can buy and also swap cryptos right from within the wallet. To buy crypto with brave you can do it from within the app using WIRE which allows credit cards and banks for buying assets.

The coolest function however is the swap tool which is increasing in popularity as exchanges become obsolete. This swap function is built right into the wallet and allows for quick transactions of crypto. I believe soon if it's not already implemented the ability to add liquidity and earn rewards for doing so.

Overall the wallet seems promising and is a welcomed change to the Brave browser. I'll be interested to see where they move to next as they start to directly team up and integrate with Solona.
