What's up Splinterfam! The Arcane Conclave (AC) edition is already an imminent event, and just look at the design of those cards; they're simply amazing, and they're barely a rare card! What will the epic and legendary cards look like? FOMO is taking over the community, but fortunately, we already have a first preview of this edition. This week, the AC card presale was formally announced. Let's start by looking at the details of this presale.
Que tal Splinterfam! La edición Conclave Arcana (CA) ya es un evento inminente y miren nada más el diseño de esas cartas son simplemente geniales y apenas es una carta rara! Como se verán las cartas épicas y legendarias? El FOMO se apodera de la comunidad pero afortunadamente ya tenemos un primer avance de esta edición y es que esta semana que terminó, fue anunciada formalmente la preventa de cartas CA. Comencemos por ver los detalles de esta preventa.
So far, we have 7 days to purchase 3 types of AC packs: the standard Arcane Conclave pack, which comes with the classic 4 common cards, guarantees us a rare card, and of course, the usual chance of getting epic and legendary cards. We can also use legendary or alchemy potions to increase the chances of getting legendary and/or golden cards. Of course, these packs also offer the possibility of getting the new Arcane Gold Foil and Arcane Black Foil, clearly their chances are low but they are there, waiting for the lucky one who can get them, their price is 4K in Dec or 4K in credits.
Hasta el momento tenemos 7 días para compras 3 tipos de packs CA: el pack estándar de conclave arcana que nos viene con las clasicas 4 cartas comunes, nos asegura una carta rara y por supuesto la acostumbrada probabilidad de conseguir también cartas épicas, legendarias y sobre los cuales podemos usar las pociones legendarias o de alquímia para incrementar las probabilidades de obtener cartas legendarias y/o doradas. Por supuesto a estos packs se añade la posibilidad de conseguir las nuevas láminas dorada arcana y lámina arcana negra, claramente sus posibilidades son bajas pero alli está, esperando al afortunado que pueda conseguirla, su precio es de 4K en Dec o 4K en créditos.
Let's now look at the next pack: the Alchemy Pack. This pack also includes five AC cards, but in this case, one of them will be gold, priced at 12K Dec/Credits. Here, we can also use legendary potions/alchemy to increase our chances of obtaining more gold cards from these packs, or even better, a golden legendary card.
Veamos ahora el siguiente pack: Pack de alquimia. Este pack también nos traerá 5 cartas CA pero en este caso nos asegura que una de esas cartas será dorada con un precio de 12K Decs/Creditos. Aquí también podremos usar las pociones legendarias/alquimia para aumentar las posibilidades de obtener más cartas doradas de estos packs o mejor, una carta legendaria dorada.
Finally, we have the legendary packs, which, following the order of the previous packs, contain 5 AC cards that will guarantee at least one legendary card. If we use alchemy potions, we'll increase the chances of obtaining a golden legendary card.

Now, after almost a week of pre-sale, we have the first data on how these packs have sold. If you look closely, sales have focused on alchemy packs and there is a good reason for this: these packs, unlike standard and legendary packs, have a higher chance of getting black foil cards (0.25%), so those with a large budget have invested significantly in these packs.

Si se fijan bien, las ventas se han enfocado en los packs de alquimia y hay una buena razón para ello y es que éstos packs a diferencia de los estándar y los legendarios tienen una posibilidad superior para conseguir cartas de lámina negra (0,25%), así que aquellos que tienen un gran presupuesto han invertido de forma importante en estos packs.
For now, and since my budget is limited, I bought 10 standard packs to guarantee a rare promotional card. However, I did this on the secondary account I'm setting up for my nephew, who will be just turning 11 in 2025. He liked the game, especially the part about opening packs. So, it's a way to introduce him to this project as a new player.

For my part, and this isn't investment advice, since my budget is so low, I must admit that the price of these packs is too high, even for new players. I'm not going to go into the details of what this might mean for the future of this edition, I'll just share with you the decision I ultimately made: buying these packs is simply not feasible for someone on a budget. But the good news is that the game will give us the opportunity to buy $1 starter packs that will contain only five common and rare cards. This is where my efforts will focus: completing the common and rare card sets, where the summoners are located, so I can start playing in Modern and complement my strategies with the Rebellion rewards cards I have so far.
Por mi parte y no es consejo de inversión, mi presupuesto al ser tan bajo debo reconocer que el precio de estos packs es demasiado incluso para los nuevos jugadores. No voy a entrar en los detalles de lo que esto puede implicar para el futuro de esta edición, solo compartiré con ustedes la decisión que finalmente he tomado, simplemente no es viable comprar estos packs para alguien con un presupuesto limitado, pero lo bueno es que el juego nos dará la oportunidad de comprar packs starter de 1$ que contendrán 5 cartas entre comunes y raras solamente. Aquí es donde se concentrarán mis esfuerzos, ir completando los sets de cartas comunes y raras, donde se encuentran los invocadores para poder empezar a jugar en moderno y complementar mis estrategias con las cartas rewards Rebellion que tengo hasta ahora.
Introduction of a new item: Midnight Potions/Introducción de nuevo item: Pociones de media noche
Two weeks ago, one of the announcements I consider most appropriate in terms of timing and gameplay was made: the introduction of midnight potions, which are nothing more than a potion to increase the chances of obtaining a black plate from the Arcane Conclave packs. And why is it appropriate? Because these potions are the first steps toward integrating Lands resources into the main game.
Hace 2 semana se realizó uno de los anuncios que considero más acertados en tiempo como en la jugabilidad, me refiero a la introducción de las pociones de media noche que no son más que una poción para incrementar las posibilidades de obtener una lámina negra de los packs Conclave Arcana. Y porqué acertada? pues porque estas pociones son los primeros pasos para integrar los recursos de Lands en el juego principal.
This integration is evident in the fact that these potions can only be created on research plots. In other words, these are the first craftable items that will require the resources we produce in Lands to create them. The best part is that we can put them up for sale in the Potion Shop.
Esta integración se manifiesta en el hecho de que estas pociones solo pueden crearse en las parcelas de investigación, es decir estamos hablando de los primeros items crafteables que requeriran los recursos que producimos en lands para poder crearlo y lo mejor es que podremos ponerlos a la venta en la tienda de pociones.
As I mentioned earlier, these potions will finally bring significant utility to research plots that until now haven't generated any tradable resources, as research points can't be traded. But now, these research points will give us Soulbound Aura Lab permits, allowing us to build a workstation for generating aura, a soulbound resource.
Como mencioné anteriormente, estas pociones finalmente le darán una gran utilidad a las parcelas de investigación que hasta ahora no generaban algún tipo de recursos comerciables pues los puntos de investigación no se pueden comerciar. Pero ahora, estos puntos de investigación nos darán permisos de laboratorio de aura ligados al alma y así construir un sitio de trabajo para la generación de aura un recurso ligado al alma.
The aura will, of course, ultimately allow for the crafting of midnight potions. There are already players creating these potions and putting them up for sale. It's currently priced at $0.078, or about 80 Decs at the exchange rate. But the most important thing is the interconnection it will create with the rest of the resources, as this aura lab will require wood, stone, and iron to extract the aura.

Well, friends, I'll leave you with this remarkable game update. I'm really excited because I feel the project is now taking steps in the right direction. This is why in my previous post I decided to start from scratch with the Arcane Conclave edition, ignoring the infamous Rebellion and the objectionable decisions they made from gameplay to card balance. Y bien amigos, hasta dejo esta destacable actualización del juego. estoy realmente entusiasmado porque siento que el proyecto ahora si esta dando los pasos en dirección correcta. Esta es la razón por la que en mi post anterior tomé la desición de empezar desde cero con la edición Conclave Arcana, ignorando la infame Rebellion y las objetables desiciones que tomaron desde la jugabilidad, hasta el balance de las cartas. Soy optimista respecto al futuro de Splinterlands con Conclave Arcana y espero que continúen apareciendo novedades que integren aún más a Lands con el juego principal.
