Vibes is one of the consistent and fun communities on Hive that attracts talented content creators from every nook and cranny. It's obvious that the vibes community has impacted the Blockchain positively and has kept fueling the growth of Hive and its activities. The fun and excitement derived from scrolling through every page on Vibes can never be compared to none. However, I would love to humbly propose some ideas that might add more life to the already amazing existing humor in the community. Please, stay with me till the end. 💪💪
Let's count from 1 to 8
1. Introducing best stage energy, and emotional impact:
This is totally different from the usual top-six selections. There are some participants with great energy performance and emotional flow that don't make it to the top, which is always a normal thing. But there's this uniqueness in their performance that stands out though they never merit the top. A shout-out can mean a lot to them. I think many people like to be appreciated no matter how little. Isn't it? Lol
2. Just one word:
Let’s refer to it as a “magic word”. In any week's contest, a magic word can be thrown out for every participant to slot into their song. For example, if the word “moon.” is rolled out, singers would weave the word into their song. This would show how creative each singer can be, and it can ginger many listeners to want to listen well to others to spot the word and how it's used. This can be fun and, at the same time increase engagement with comments.
3. Drop a beat:
With just a beat, we can have a thousand lyrics. There can be hundreds of outcomes from just a beat and they’ll never be the same. A beat can be dropped in the community for contestants to download and vibe to. This can bring out the best in those who have never done any original. I would say it’s a push that can make many contestants discover themselves. I've done things I've never done before, and I was asked whether I had a prior idea, and the answer was no. I just felt passionate about it and tried it out, and I was pushed to do more, which brought out something I'd never noticed in me. I'm sure this can bring out the hidden Michael Jackson and Bob Marley in some people. Until then, we might never know who they are.
4. Unleash the title:
Any title can be thrown out for singers to build their songs on. For example, the title can be “The Man on the Moon” — every participant will create their lyrics around it, and sing to any beat of their choice, but the song must reflect the title. Here we’re going to see talents pouring out from different angles. I trust these guys (smile).
5. Vibes Hall of Fame:
I know winners are announced every week, but a pinned post can be our billboard that would be edited every week. Here, anyone can see all the winners from week 1 to date.
6. A judge for the week:
I believe the judges are watching, and they know those who deserve to be given a chance to participate and learn from their judging prowess. A person can be selected every week, tutored, and assigned a task to assist other judges in their work. This doesn’t make the person a judge, but it’s a way to groom others in case there’s a need for it in the future, and it will also reduce stress for the judges.
7. Cross the ocean:
There's unity in diversity. How about singing in another man's language? Hmm! This might make some funny senses. This would be a little bit challenging, but fun as well. Imagine a Nigerian trying to make a cover of a Spanish song or a German vibing effortlessly to an Igbo beat. I think it's time for us to cross the ocean, and break the borders. Of course, we would see a lot of tongues twisting to and fro. Yes! We can sound wild. This is a kind of moment that breaks the internet. But to think of it, it's not only about the funny moments, it's an avenue to celebrate global music diversity. Native speakers can help out while laughing at the same time. We can, through music build a bridge and cross language barriers. If we call it a challenge, and it's challenging, then the aim is not defeated.
8. Behind the Scene:
Many of us probably shoot countless times before we succeed. Like me, in the last contest, I recorded more than 10 times before finally hitting it. Imagine having your video under the cloud, and a chicken jumps on you in the middle of your performance, or maybe your dad or mum screams your name, and you respond with "Yes, Sir" or "Yes, Ma". Or your kid rolls his ball at you or starts calling daddy. We can even laugh at our performance and cut to start afresh. There are a lot of funny things or distractions that disrupt our performances. These can be attached to the page if there are any. It may not be compulsory, but I’m sure this will be funny and further light up our day on vibes!
Vibes is already amazing, no doubt. But we can still add more by sprinkling more fun, love, and creativity. We would not only be a community of vibes competitors but the best and the most beautiful community of singers in the Web 3 universe. Let's keep the vibes alive.

Please, this is just an idea proposed and not a requirement for the community. The idea aims to get us more united and spark new energy in the competition. Whether any of the proposals will be adopted or not is left to the management and the judges of the community to decide. Just as they say, Ideas don't come fully formed. There can be addition and subtraction, and It can be tweaked for improvement. Hope one is considered.
