Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter and Square, is one of the leading figures in the world of global finance who is promoting Bitcoin as a legal trading currency, so much so that he has introduced tips on Twitter, sending tips in BTC satoshi to reward the more deserving posts from users.

To facilitate Bitcoin exchange between users, Jack Dorsey is working on tbDEX, a similar-exchange or rather a platform that allows peer to peer exchanges without the help of an entity that controls every transaction. Obviously very distant from the concept of DEX that we know but it is a system that wants to follow the rules to avoid being banned by governments and therefore in fact unusable.

All users who want to subscribe to the tdDEX will have to identify themselves through the KYC process and only then will they be able to start exchanging their Bitcoins. This step is clearly contrary to the fundamental principle of decentralized exchanges that no identification is required. But to have a legal course in many countries around the world, it is necessary that behind each account there is a known user in order to be able to counter the many cases of scam that especially DeFi is experiencing in recent months.

For this product, the tbDEX will be equipped with an important defense tool against scams, namely the chargeback, the ability to reverse fraudulent transactions and return the entire amount lost to the user. This is honestly a great tool that would induce many users, discouraged by their fear of investing in fraudulent projects, to be more active, favoring onboarding.

Other innovations include the implementation of blockchain analysis solutions, either integrated into the DEX or through a third party, to track transactions on the platform. This would then allow any regulator to verify payment IDs and public wallet addresses with KYC information, thus revealing the personal identities behind the transactions.

All these solutions are therefore necessary to operate safely on the tbDEX platform and many investors will certainly be thrilled because they will enjoy greater safety and protection of their invested capital. Although it is a solution that will cause a lot of discussion and that in fact clashes with the ideal of blockchain created by Satoshi Nakamoto, it is still difficult to think that the current DEXs will enjoy total freedom in the coming months or years.

Furthermore, the mass of people who will enter the crypto world in the coming years will want to have security guarantees to protect their capital and today there are none on DEXs as in the crypto world. Not everyone has the time to read, study and test. So I am sure that other similar tbDEX will be born in the long term and will allow tens of millions of users to have their own Bitcoin wallet, which today represents the gateway to the crypto world.

It is still a bullish signal!
