Week 5 Results | 15W-16L-9P | -0.796 Units Loss

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

There was a similar pattern to last week as in betting on the European matches resulting in quite a loss while the Belgian League betting action provided a small profit. In anything, making a profit from sports betting really does remain a challenge even when focussing all your attention on 1 specific league. There were quite some strange matches this week with AA Gent winning 6-1 against Club Brugge along with some very early red cards that had a big impact on the outcome of games. It's all part of it though and there are certainly some spots. There were certainly some spots I could have played differently and I'm even after all these years still learning each week.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2021-2022

I did manage to hit a 3.98 odds bet which was part of the pre-game selections. I don't shy away from taking higher odds on some of these bets still taking them as flat stakes even though it does increase the highs and lows quite a bit.

Last season (See Final Results Post there were 236 of these selection which produced a whopping +30.594 units profit good for +12.96% ROI

Season 2021-2022 Personal Betting Chart

The Season chart of my personal results still very much is staying close to the expected pink profit line. The overall volume is still quite low making it so that a slight losing streak can easily get me down in a loss again. I'm not overly focused on the short term and just keep going at it one bet at a time.
