I just realized I’m already a few days late with my TikTok analytics update. I guess I was so focused on editing videos that I forgot to check how I performed over the past week. I’m glad I finally took a look earlier because I discovered that my analytics for the past seven days are the best I've had since I started my TikTok journey!
I’ve been on TikTok for seven weeks now. While the first three weeks were a bit shaky, I’m happy that I managed to improve in the more recent ones. I really put in the effort to do some research and find ways to enhance my video recording, editing, and content selection—focusing on creating relatable posts and connecting with other users in my region. I believe I’m on the right path toward achieving something meaningful with this journey, and the proof is in the analytics I’m about to share.
If you’d like to check out my TikTok analytics from the previous week, here’s the PeakD link to that post:
I also reviewed and compared the analytics from past weeks to see how much progress I’ve made. Based on that, I created a rough estimate of the numbers I’m aiming for a month from now—a sort of projection of future growth based on this week’s performance. I really hope I can get close to that goal and find ways to keep pushing myself forward. It might be a lot of pressure, but I just want to see if I can make something great out of this TikTok journey. Go big or go home, right? LOL.

Post views
The most impressive jump in progress is definitely in post views. In the previous week, I had a total of 2,093 views, but this past week, that number skyrocketed to 54,000—a massive increase of approximately +2,480%! OMG, it’s incredible to see that the algorithm pushed my posts to reach that many people.
The major contributors to this spike were two videos: one featuring a street busker and the other showcasing hawker food. These two posts made me realize that my audience—mostly located within my region—found this type of content especially engaging. This gives me a clear idea of the kind of content I should focus on next, right?
Post Shares
I also want to highlight a key factor in the improvement of my latest TikTok analytics: post shares. I noticed a 900% increase in the number of people sharing my posts. This kind of engagement is a major driver behind the spike in views. It shows that when people find your content interesting, they’re likely to share it with their friends—leading to even more exposure and visibility for your posts.
Viewers!
Based on the analytics, I also managed to reach 45,000 new viewers—which is amazing! That means I grew my viewership by +4,538% in just one week. It goes to show that a social platform with a massive user base like TikTok can quickly amplify someone's content and reach a wide audience. This is exactly why so many businesses are now investing their marketing budgets into TikTok—it’s where people are actively engaging and socializing today.
Audience Shift
According to my recent analytics, I’ve started to gain more male viewers, which is great because it means my content is becoming more relatable to both genders. I remember during my first few weeks, about 90% of my viewers were female—which felt a bit unexpected, as I hadn’t specifically tailored my videos with that in mind.
To address that, I began selecting sounds and music that would appeal to a broader audience, and I made sure my content was balanced so it could be appreciated by anyone, regardless of gender. Judging by my latest analytics, it looks like that strategy has been a success.
Location Breakdown
Country | Apr 24–30 | May 3–9 | Change |
---|---|---|---|
Singapore | 88.6% | 97.5% | ⬆ Stronger local focus |
Thailand | 2.3% | - | ⬇ |
Malaysia | 2.1% | 0.6% | ⬇ |
Philippines | 1.2% | 0.2% | ⬇ |
It seems that my content has become hyper-targeted to Singaporean viewers, This is something I’ve been aiming for since I started my TikTok journey. I wanted to connect with users within my region because my content is specifically inspired by all things related to Singapore. It only makes sense to engage with others who are in the same area as I am.
Overall, I’m really proud of the progress I’ve made this week and excited to see where this journey leads. The numbers are encouraging, but what matters most is the connection I’m building with my audience. I’ll keep learning, improving, and creating content that truly reflects the spirit of my community.
If This Trend Continues, here's my projection in the next 30 Days:

-
Potential for brand partnerships, especially with:
-
Local food spots
-
Historical/tourism orgs
-
Mobile/data/travel-related services
-
