Each week, I’ve noticed that I tend to follow a specific routine. While this can be beneficial in many ways, it sometimes starts to feel a bit monotonous. Occasionally, I’ll break the routine to add some excitement and make things a little more fun than usual 😁.

I actually enjoy having a routine—especially at work—because it pushes me to think strategically about how to make my day more productive. I aim to do things in a way that’s even just a little better than before. I'm not sure if you’ve heard of this concept, but I recently came across a principle that’s really changed how I think about my daily habits. It’s simple: find a way to improve some aspect of your life by just 1% each day. This mindset encourages continuous growth, no matter which part of your life you're focusing on.

Whenever I feel like I'm sticking too closely to a routine, I make an effort to introduce breaks or changes to keep things fresh and allow for improvement.

Having a very rigid routine—especially when it comes to food—isn't ideal. It's important to have variety in what we eat, particularly in terms of color. It’s often recommended to eat colorful foods. And no, I don’t mean food coloring—LOL—I’m talking about the natural colors found in whole foods.

For example, if you’re making stir-fried vegetables, include a mix like potatoes, carrots, broccoli, baby corn, and so on. Not only will it look more appetizing, but it will also be much healthier.

Incorporating small changes into our routines can make a big difference in both productivity and overall well-being. Whether it’s adjusting our daily habits or adding variety to our meals, even a 1% improvement each day can lead to meaningful growth over time. Embracing flexibility while staying intentional helps create a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
