I'm not sure how many times I've said this, but I think I’ve found my new favorite noodle shop spot 😂. It’s amazing how many variations of noodles there can be, and I’m really glad there are people brave enough to explore flavors and turn something simple into something as exciting as the minced meat noodles I had for dinner.
This dinner wasn’t even planned. I was just supposed to have bread, but I left my wallet at home—and the bakery only accepts cash 😂. So frustrating, especially since I rely so much on digital payments for almost everything. I didn’t realize there are still shops that only accept paper money. I used to think they were just outdated, but I guess it makes sense if they’re simply used to cash and aren’t comfortable with digital methods yet.
So, I had to find a place that accepts digital payments. Thankfully, there’s a hawker center nearby with a few stalls still open. Even though most were closed, one of the open ones was a noodle stall—which was perfect, since I wasn’t in the mood for a heavy dinner. Their menu was small, but everything looked good, so I went for the basic option: minced meat noodles.
This unexpected dinner turned out to be a happy accident. I discovered a flavorful bowl of minced meat noodles that truly hit the spot and might just be my new go-to comfort food. It’s amazing how something simple can become special when done right. Moments like this remind me that food adventures don’t always need to be planned—they sometimes find you. I’ll definitely be back for another bowl soon!
