After family time today I took another walk around an old garden feature that I visited a few months ago.
A really run down and neglected plot of land in the corner of a park here in Crawley. The gates have the dates 1947 - 1997 at the top. Also the letters CBC. I think it is in recognition of the Crawley Bowling Club.
Parts of the wooden frames are beginning to fall over and have been propped up with makeshift buttresses.
It is such a shame to see this quiet garden in such a sorry state. It seems the council has just forgotten and left it to the weeds!
It looks like the hedges are trimmed occasionally but the flower beds are now grass and weed infested.
