Greetings, fellow human gamers, how’s it going…
There’s less and less time left until the release of the new expansion called Conclave Arcana from the @splinterlands project on our beloved Hive blockchain.
Splinterlands has always been, in my opinion, a symbol of Hive with its ups and downs—but I feel that the arrival of this new expansion will bring a real twist to the game. In fact, I’ve noticed there’s a lot of hype among players, especially with the recent movement of its main tokens SPS and DEC, which shows there’s high anticipation from everyone involved in the project.
I’m going to touch on a few points that I think are important. Of course, we’re just speculating and trying to stay objective since there’s still some time before the update arrives, but here’s what I’ve been thinking:
WHAT EXCITES ME THE MOST
What I love the most is that they’re actively working on their game and doing things that even AAA web2 card games already have. What really excites me is the introduction of card skins or alternate rarities, beyond the ones we already know just like they’ve shown in their Discord.

Another thing I’m hopeful for is that there will be surprises when the update drops, and I believe this could also be a perfect entry point for new players who want to get into the world of Splinterlands.
INTERESTING CARDS AND ABILITIES
I like the card designs they have a modern style. I do hope they also show some love to the game’s menu when the update rolls out.
As for the new abilities, I think they’re great. In my previous post, I mentioned my favorite so far, but I feel the most exciting and innovative part is the introduction of races for the cards.
WILL THIS SET AFFECT MY STRATEGY?
Absolutely. With the arrival of new cards, the game’s meta will change significantly, not just because of the cards themselves, but because we’ll also see new classes and abilities that bring new synergies.
Another important point is that we don’t yet know if Gladius cards will remain in Modern League, or if this new set will push Chaos Legion into the Wild format which I personally think is likely to happen soon.
This is super important, since I believe most players, on average, have their collections mainly based on that set. So if this change happens, the market for the new cards could become very active, as many of us would suddenly have fewer viable cards to play with.
That’s why I say this Conclave Arcana expansion feels like a rework of the game it’s bringing changes that could permanently shift how battles work. I also feel like this is a phase where new players could join, seeing Splinterlands as more attractive and fun than ever before.

Cada vez falta menos para que salga la nueva expansión llamada Conclave Arcana del proyecto llamado @splinterlands en nuestra querida hive.
Splinterlands siempre ha sido desde mi punto de vista un símbolo de hive con sus cosas buenas y malas, pero siento que la llegaba de esta nueva expansión le dará un giro al juego, tanto que he notado que hay mucho hype por parte de los jugadores ya que se ha presentando movimientos de sus tokens principales SPS y DEC, osea que hay una expectativa grande por parte de todos los que estamos adentro del proyecto.
Empezare tocando algunos puntos que me parecen importantes, claro esta que solo estamos especulando y siendo objetivos ya que aun falta tiempo para que llegue este nuevo update, pero los tocaremos a continuación:
QUE ES LO QUE MAS ME ENTUSIASMA
Lo que mas me gusta es que están trabajando en su juego y están haciendo cosas que juegos triple AAA de cartas de web2 ya poseen. Dentro de esta parte me encanta que las cartas tendrán como skins o rarezas aparte de la que conocemos, tal como se nos ha mostrado en su discord.
Otro aspecto que tengo esperanza es que hayan sorpresas para cuando se lance la actualización y creo que eso tambien sera un inicio para los nuevos jugadores que quieran entrar al mundo de splinterlands.
CARTAS Y HABILIDADES INTERESANTES
Los diseños de las cartas me gusta, tienen un arte moderno aunque también espero que le den un poco de amor al menu del juego para cuando llegue ese momento.
En cuanto a sus habilidades nuevas me parecen bien, en mi post anterior hable de mi favorita por el momento pero siento que la parte de que las cartas tengan una raza es lo que me parece mas ganador y novedoso.
AFECTARA ESTA COLECCIÓN A MI ESTRATEGIA?
Claro que si, ya que al llegar nuevas cartas cambiara mucho el meta del juego ya que no solo son cartas si no habrá clases y otras habilidades nuevas que tienen sinergias nuevas.
Otro aspecto es que no sabemos si las cartas Gladius continúen en la liga de Moderno, o si con la llegada de este nuevo set se valla Chaos Legion a wild con lo cual me inclino que pronto pasará.
Esta parte es súper importante ya que siento que la mayoría de jugadores en promedio tienen su colección principalmente de este set y por ende el comercio de las nuevas cartas puede moverse mucho ya que si esto pasa todos estaremos con pocas cartas para jugar.
Es por eso que digo que esta expansión Conclave Arcana es un rework del juego ya que vienen nuevas cosas que cambiaran las batallas para siempre y siento que esta etapa podrían entrar nuevos jugadores al verse splinterlands mas atractivo y divertido.
