Hello hello my beautiful and dear traveling community 🚌🎒❤️ I hope your day is very pleasant, it is already getting dark here and I take the opportunity to share a beautiful place that I have visited in Curitiba - Brazil 🇧🇷 there are many places that I have pending to visit but in the meantime I enjoy sharing those that my eyes have already visualized and enjoyed.. On this occasion I visited a historic place in Curitiba called: "Palacio de la libertad" and here I share with you a little of this adventure.
Hola hola mi bonita y querida comunidad viajera 🚌🎒❤️ espero que su dia sea muy agradable, aca ya esta anocheciendo y aprovecho para compartir un lugar lindo que he visitado en Curitiba - Brasil 🇧🇷 son muchos los lugares que tengo pendientes por visitar mas mientras tanto disfruto de compartir los que mis ojos ya han visualizado y disfrutado.. En esta ocasion visite un lugar historico de Curitiba llamado: "Palacio de la libertad" y aqui te comparto un poco de esta aventura.
The Liberty Palace is a symbol of Curitiba's cultural identity, an example of the preservation of the city's history and architecture. Located in the city center, the palace was inaugurated on February 24, 1916, and declared a historic-artistic monument in 1966 by the state of Paraná and the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (IPHAM).
This palace was the first seat of the Curitiba City Hall, which attracted great attention because it was unusual for public authorities to have a permanent headquarters. However, before becoming a palace, it underwent various renovations and also served as former headquarters, primarily as part of the old market and later as a city hall and municipal council chamber.
Currently, Mayor Eduardo Pimentel uses a room as an office space. It is not entirely his work office, but rather his sole space where he plans to address issues related to improvements for the city center, as he considers the city center to be the heart of the city.
El palacio de la libertad es un simbolo de identidad cultural en Curitiba, ejemplo de conservacion de historia y arquitectura de la ciudad, dicho palacio esta ubicado en el centro de la ciudad y fue inaugurado el 24/02/1916 siendo declarado monumento historico artistico en el año 1966 por el estado de parana y el instituto nacional del patrimonio historico y artistico IPHAM.
Este palacio fue la primera sede de prefectura de Curitiba lo cual fue de gran atencion porque no era comun que los poderes publicos tuvieran una sede fija, pero antes de ser el palacio paso por diferentes remodelaciones y antiguas sedes tambien ya que principalmente era parte del antiguo mercado y luego un ayuntamiento y camara municipal para concejales.
Actualmente el Alcalde Eduardo Pimentel usa una sala como espacio de oficina,no es 100% su oficina de trabajo mas es su espacio donde planea solo llevar temas referentes a mejoras para el centro de la ciudad ya que el concidera el centro como el corazon de la ciudad.
The palace is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The day I visited was a Sunday afternoon, and to enter, you must register, proudly stating that I was the only Venezuelan there.
The palace has three floors and an area of 2,103 square meters. Its architecture features neoclassical and art nouveau designs, an artistic and architectural style. Its structure is made of brick masonry. It has two entrances that lead to important squares in the city.
The design is very attractive from the start. At the main entrance, you will find carved columns of two Atlantes, the mythological hero Hercules, representing the executive and legislative branches. Upon entering, you will find the staircase, which is a great attraction, as it is designed in a spiral shape and divided into four sections.
El palacio funciona de martes a domingo con un horario comprendido de martes a viernes de 10 am a 21 horas, sabado y domingo de 11 am a 17 horas, el dia que lo visite fue un domingo por la tarde y para entrar debes dejar tu registro donde orgullosamente era la unica Venezolana ahi.
El palacio cuenta con 3 plantas y una superficie de 2.103 metros cuadrados, su arquitectura es de diseños neoclasicos y art-nouveau el cual es un estilo artistico y arquitectonico, su estructura etsa realizada con mamposteria de ladrillo, tiene dos entradas las cuales te redireccionan a plazas importantes de la ciudad.
El diseño es muy atractivo desde el incio te encuntras en la entrada principal columnas talladas de dos atlantes del heroe mitologico hercueles las cuales representan el poder ejecutivo y legislativo, al entrar te encuentras con las escaleras las cuales son de gran atraccion ya que estan diseñadas en forma de caracol, distribuidas en 4 tramos.
The palace was built in 1914, lasting approximately a year and a half. It was the first building to have an electric elevator, which began operating in 1922. Its first restoration took place in 1970. Over the years, it was abandoned and neglected. Around 2007, the building was taken back and restored, and it was reopened to the public in 2009. It is now a cultural center. It is currently managed by the Paraná Social Service of Commerce, offering health, cultural, and sports services to the public.
Coincidentally, the day I attended, they were having an exhibition of a work called "Remains," which represents discomfort and pain in the world. They also have a school cafeteria where I enjoyed a delicious coffee and chatted with my boyfriend. The place is very pretty, and its structures were basically what captivated my attention. El palacio fue construido en 1914 durando año y medio aproximadamente su construccion y fue el primer edificio que tuvo ascensor electrico que entro en funcionamiento en 1922, su primera restauracion fue en 1970 pasado los años fue abandonado y descuidado, mas o menos para el 2007 retomaron el edificio y lo restauraron nuevamente siendo abierto nuevamente al publico en el 2009 ahora como un centro cultural, es actualmente administrado por el servicio social de comercio de Parana ofreciendo al publico servicios de salud, cultura, deporte.
Casualmente el dia que asisti tenian la exposicion de una obra llamada restos, la cual representa malestar y dolor por el mundo, tambien cuentan con una cafeteria escola de la cual deguste un delicioso cafe y una charla con mi novio, el lugar es muy lindo y sus estructuras fueron basicamente las que cautivaron mi atencion, espero sea de su agrado al igual que lo fue para mi, me despido con un abrazo y beso.
