If you can't guess what's happening here, this is one of the "delicacies" which we enjoyed as kids, most of the people from my generation that lived in the countryside. Playing in the fields while "guarding" the cows grazing can make you hungry and this was an easy and cool way to prepare some grub, pick some potatoes straight from the source and throw them in a fire, some of us would even carry some salt with us especially for these occasions. :))
