This weekend I went to visit my parents in the countryside. They live very close to my grandparents, who, despite their advanced age, still work with crops and cattle. As the cattle were in the corral — since my grandfather prepares feed for them every day — all the animals gathered to eat.
I took the opportunity to capture the moment. The cool thing is that my grandfather's cattle are very tame. You can even pet them on the head once they trust you. Of course, that trust comes quickly when there is food involved. I had some corn and offered it to one of them, who immediately came up to me.
I couldn't capture the ox eating from my hand because, I confess, I was afraid of being bitten. But in the end, the animals came closer and it was a very fun experience.
My grandfather had already left the corral, so I couldn't take any pictures with him. But this was one of my few records of a wonderful weekend with my family. I hope you enjoyed it!

Esse final de semana fui visitar meus pais, na roça. Eles moram bem próximos aos meus avós, que, apesar da idade um pouco avançada, ainda trabalham com plantação e criação de gado. Como o gado estava no curral — já que todos os dias meu avô prepara ração para eles — todos os animais se aglomeravam para comer.
Aproveitei a oportunidade para registrar o momento. O legal é que o gado do meu avô é bem manso. Dá até para passar a mão na cabeça deles, depois que eles pegam confiança. Claro que essa confiança vem rapidinho quando tem comida 😂. Eu tinha um pouco de milho e ofereci para um deles, que logo veio se aproximando de mim.
Não consegui registrar o boi comendo na minha mão, porque confesso que fiquei com medo de levar uma mordida. Mas, no fim, os animais foram se aproximando e foi uma experiência muito divertida.
Meu avô já havia saído do curral, então não consegui tirar nenhuma foto com ele. Mas esse foi um dos meus poucos registros de um final de semana maravilhoso, ao lado da minha família. Espero que tenham gostado!
