Hoy les contaré sobre una nueva clase en el curso de crochet. La verdad es que me había ido hasta este momento súper bien con las clases pues habíamos ganado un alumno por semana, cosa que me tenía súper contenta.
Poco a poco los objetivos se iban logrando y es algo que agradezco a la vida todos los días. Como les comenté el dar clases de crochet es algo que he querido hacer desde hace muchos años y el poder lograrlo me hace sentir más que realizada.
Todavía estaba en proceso de adaptarme a esta nueva rutina, el salir de cada casi que ha diario era algo completamente nuevo para mi y que estaba tratando de llevar de la mejor manera.
Today I'm going to tell you about a new class in my crochet class. The truth is that up until this point, the classes had been going really well, as we had gained one student per week, which made me super happy.
Little by little, the goals were being achieved, and it's something I'm grateful for every day. As I mentioned, teaching crochet classes is something I've wanted to do for many years, and being able to achieve it makes me feel beyond fulfilled.
I was still in the process of adapting to this new routine; getting out of the daily grind was something completely new to me, and I was trying to handle it as best I could.
Salir en horas del medio día era algo complicado (aún lo es) pues el transporte público cuesta un poco porque los choferes suelen ir a sus casa a almorzar y cuesta un poco encontrar alguno que quiera llegar hasta el centro de la ciudad.
Aparte el sol y el calor es súper fuerte en mi región a estas horas, por lo que si o si hay que tener un paraguas pues los dolores de cabeza que pueden llegar a dar son realmente intensos.
Luego de unos minutos ya iba en vía al local y en el camino nos encontramos un enorme trancón ya que en una gasolinera que está en la vía estaba surtiendo gasolina (pues hay problema de escases de combustible). Luego de unos minutos logramos salir de esto.

After a few minutes, I was on my way to the store and on the way, we ran into a huge traffic jam because a gas station on the road was filling up (because there's a fuel shortage). After a few minutes, we managed to get out of there.

Ella era una mujer que ya sabía tejer y quería aclarar y reforzar algunos conocimientos. Consigo llevó unas prendas que había tejido para su nieta, que estaba pronta a nacer y el motivo por el cual se había inscrito era ese, pues ella quería hacer muchas cositas para esa bebé.
When the students arrived, they immediately began working. The new student was a woman in her fifties.
She already knew how to knit and wanted to clarify and reinforce some of her knowledge. She brought some clothes she had knitted for her granddaughter, who was about to be born. That's why she had signed up: she wanted to make lots of little things for the baby.
Como siempre les comento, las clases de tejido son súper tranquilas porque cada quien esta concentrado trabajando en sus tejidos, contando puntos y verificando sus vueltas. Es un ambiente bien bonito y relajante.
Cuando puedo les hago hacer una pequeña pausa para poder tomarles una foto para el recuerdo y ellas siempre están bien dispuestas.
As I always tell them, knitting classes are super relaxing because everyone is focused on their knitting, counting stitches, and checking their rows. It's a very nice and relaxing atmosphere.
Whenever I can, I let them take a short break so I can take a photo for the memory, and they're always very willing to do so.
Teníamos varios proyectos en desarrollo, desde mandalas hasta un pequeño llavero de cerezas.
We had several projects in development, from mandalas to a small cherry keychain.
Y luego de dos horas finalizamos la clase con éxito. La mayoría quedó con sus proyectos a medias y para la próxima clase los iban a terminar.
