El día lunes que salimos a hacer unas diligencias mi hijo y yo, decidimos hacer una parada técnica para comer algo y poder tener las energías suficientes para aguantar un poco hasta que llegaramos a casa.
Habíamos salido solo con el desayuno en nuestros estómagos y estábamos en horas del medio día.
El presupuesto estaba un poco ajustado como para comprar algo en la calle y se me ocurrió visitar una panadería que estaba cerca de dónde íbamos y que además tenía buenas referencias, ya que una amiga la habia visitado recientemente.
On Monday when we went out to run some errands my son and I decided to make a technical stop to get something to eat so that we could have enough energy to last until we got home.
We had left with only breakfast in our stomachs and it was in the middle of the day.
The budget was a bit tight to buy something in the street and I thought of visiting a bakery that was close to where we were going and that also had good references, as a friend had visited it recently.
La panadería se llama a Nueva Victoria y tiene muchísimos años de trayectoria, tanto que recuerdo visitarla cuando era muy niña.
Al ver los vídeos noté que pasaron por un proceso de remodelación, pues no recuerdo que fuera así la verdad. Solo tenían el mostrador y no estaba esa área para sentarse a pasar el rato.
Es por eso que sentía muchas ganas de ir, además que en los vídeos que tienen en Instagram se veían unos panes bien deliciosos.
The bakery is called Nueva Victoria and has been around for many years, so much so that I remember visiting it when I was a child.
When I saw the videos I noticed that they went through a remodeling process, I don't really remember it being like that. They only had the counter and there wasn't that area to sit and hang out.
That's why I really wanted to go, plus the videos they have on Instagram showed some delicious breads.
Luego de preguntar que tenían disponible me decidí por un croissant que tenía en su interior dos rebanadas de jamón y una de queso amarillo.
Cómo ví que tenía un buen tamaño solo pedí uno y pedí que me lo picaran a la mitad. Mientras tanto hice el pago y me senté a esperar.
After asking what they had available I decided on a croissant with two slices of ham and a slice of yellow cheese inside.
As I saw that it was a good size I just ordered one and asked them to cut it in half. In the meantime I made the payment and sat down to wait.
Y súper rápido nos llegó nuestro croissant a la mesa, el cual tenía un muy buen tamaño y estaba recién salido del horno.
De verdad estaba súper delicioso y tanto mi hijo como yo lo disfrutamos bastante. La mitad que le tocó a cada uno venía cargada de jamón y queso y tenía un buen peso. Yo quedé bien satisfecha, a pesar de no haber comido uno completo quedé súper bien.
Espero pronto volver a visitar esta panadería y disfrutar otra de las deliciosas que ofrecen.
And very quickly our croissant arrived at the table, which was a very good size and fresh out of the oven.
It was really delicious and both my son and I enjoyed it very much. The half we each got was loaded with ham and cheese and had a good weight to it. I was very satisfied, even though I didn't eat a whole one I was very well satisfied.
I hope to visit this bakery again soon and enjoy another of the delicious ones they offer.
