Hello hivans!
It's your friend @excellency reporting directly from the city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. I attended a SpendHBD workshop organized by @ijelady here in the city of Uyo Akwa ibom state.

It was an exciting experience because a lot of things were discussed on how we can build wealth on hive. So many opportunities to make money on hive was exposed. For instance, we have shop2earn, staking hive token and HBD, etc.

In this post, I'm going to highlight few lessons i learned from the workshop;

Lesson 1: Wealth creation doesn't happen in one day, one month, or one year. It takes a significant amount of time, and effort. Just like the popular saying; "the best time to plant a tree was 10 years ago, the next best time is now."

@ijelady made mention of some tokens in the hive ecosystem that one can purchase or earn through some activities or delegations, which in the coming years, might 5x or 10x in their prices, as such adding to your wealth portfolio.

Lesson 2: Wealth is created through compounding. You must have a system that makes money for you day in day out. Thankfully, the hive blockchain has given us the platform to create wealth, its only left for the user to make adequate use of these tools, systems and platforms on the hive ecosystem to create a source of livelihood for themselves.

For instance, there are many communities on hive that meets different interests, and you can monitize your interest or passion by making contents or posts regularly in these communities, depending on the one that meets your interest. Like football, music, gardening, parenting, crypto, food, beer, art and craft, photography, travel, finance, gaming, etc. Whatever your interest, there's a community for you on hive.

Lesson 3: Your money doesn't grow in the bank. Keeping your money in the bank doesn't generate profit or interest for you, but investing it does. @ijelady mentioned how we can invest in HBD and or hive power which can yield monthly and yearly dividends.

In conclusion, i learnt a lot from the spendHBD workshop hosted by @ijelady. And not to mention that this post was made through her help and mentorship. I'm now motivated to take hive more seriously than before.
