The splinterland season is ending today and right now when I am drafting this post the remaining time is less than two hours. I wanted to unlock the diamond two league which I did already and I'm happy that I made it happen however it took some time this season as compared to the last one. I finished this achievement yesterday only thereafter I stopped my battle because I did not want to lose more ranking points so that I missed this league.
Currently my energy count is at fifty and I'm not going to use it unless the season ends and the new one starts. I know that because of the energy counted at 50 I'm losing a lot of battles which I could have won but that's fine because I'm OK to lose the energy count rather losing my rank. Generally there is a lot of competition when the season is about to end and I have gone through this so I don't want to be in a slot when I need to struggle again to unlock this league which I have already done. Maybe I do some reward for playing some more battle but that's okay as long as I keep myself in the diamond second league and here I am getting about 12X boost which is like 11.8 as of now.
Decision was also a good season for me if I talk about the number of battles I played. If I do the comparison between the last season and the one which is about to end I would say that this one was more competent. It is because I had to play a lot of battles to be in the Diamond League and I was getting a lot of competition from other players. I don't know why but earlier seasons were better than this one so I figured out that this was more tougher season for me as per my observation.
Overall this has been a good journey this season also and I'm happy that finally I made it despite the fact that I have gone through a tough journey in this season but as long as the outcome is satisfactory I find it worthy. It is game and not every time I can get the same experience because sometimes it can be challenging and sometimes it is cool so it's fine because I know that sooner or later things will change and probably this is that change.

The price for SPS token has improved in last few days and that's another good surprise that many people are happy with and even I am happy but because I wanted to buy more so now I need to spend more money which I do not want to be honest as of now and that is why I have put a pause on my purchase for sps. If it drops further I'll be buying more but if in case it is not then also I will need to buy but rather I will prefer to wait for some time at this price point to see how it turns.
The crypto market is unpredictable and we don't know what is going to happen similarly the same impact we can see on these splinterlands asset as well beat cards or even the tokens. Tokens are getting expensive which is obvious because things are getting better in the game. I would say that don't forget that SPS is such a valuable token in the game. It is directly linked with the game reward which means the more tokens you have makes you eligible to get higher reward and in my current league I am eligible for the higher reward but that is not going to stay long.
It is not going to stay long because I have got a bigger delegation from my mentor which will go after some time and then I'll be left with whatever I have purchased from the market.
Let me share some details about it and I think it will give a clarity that what I'm talking about. So on this page you can see that I have got almost 41K sps that is earning an APR of more than 10%. But I have also got 170K tokens as incoming in delegation and this balance is not mine because this is given to me for certain period. Once that time is over then this delegation will go away and I'll be left with whatever I have and if I add it more than the balance will increase and that is why my gaming rewards will reduce. Probably that time it will not be beneficial for me to play in the diamond because my boost will reduce so I will see what is best for me in that scenario.
For now I'm happy with my game and enjoying whatever time I have because not just S P S token I have also got some powerful card as part of the delegation and those cards will also go away but it's fine. I am taking the cards from the rental market and with the recent change I can only take it for the entire season and not beyond that so it has increased my manual intervention I need to put more time on the rental management but that's how it is and I just can't help it.

Maybe this change is better for the community and that is why it is done by the game but for me it is time taking however I'm just trying to be familiar with this change and it's like I need to spend sometimes twice in a month to manage my card rental part. Rental is certainly a good option for the new players where we get many cards available at some price but some cards are still not available which I hope that they should be available to improve the availability and new players can also experience the next level gaming with high level cards taking from the rental market.
