Good evening Splinterlands Fam! Today is Monday, December 13th 2021!! We have seen a lot of downward fluctuations in the prices in general of Splinterlands assets in the past week or two including:

  1. Card prices-Personally my collection has gone down about 25% in market value since chaos legion was released. Of course these results vary from collection to collection based on which cards we purchase.
  2. SPS price-SPS I had just massively increased my position recently before phase 2 of the presale at around 0.33 each, today the price has gapped down currently around 0.27 a good 20% below where I bought, woops lol.
  3. DEC price- currently at $0.00571 or half a penny in the hive engine last trade, this was at 1 and a half penny a good month ago, 3x higher. APR for SPS airdrop in dec remains above 100%, I have been adding to my DEC position in recent days as it collapses, i love catching falling knives lol.
  4. Voucher price-Since phase 2 began voucher prices have steadily dropped currently trading at $4.24 in the hive engine, honestly if anyone sells vouchers below $4 thats not smart financial sense please take my advice, when general sale starts vouchers are how you get bonus packs when you buy in bulk so they have an intrinsic worth of $4 in the general sale.
  5. Chaos Legion Pack price- Currently down from over $10 on Dec 8th to $6.25 today. This was quicker than expected, but I did expect the price would drift towards $4 eventually, im surprised its gotten so low so quick, I wonder if the price is below the expected value in a chaos legion pack already??

What the Dealeo???

Well first off, yes this is realeo. Sorry I had to. I recently closed out my other crypto gaming positions and Loaded up on SPS. What everyone needs to understand is there is a significant portion of the community that wants to cash in at this time of the year, its the same thing in the stock market there are cyclical patterns at play monetarily as well as game cycle fluctations affecting card prices. All of the assets feed off one another and relate to the value of other assets like if the value of SPS goes down, holding dec yields less money per day if you are cashing in on the spot price and selling that airdropped sps. This is healthy and we have to take advantage of this time to add to our collections, if you see cheap cards that you want to build and use, this is time to make them, I yesterday made my first maxxed fully card, I cant use it fully yet but take a look: This guy use to cost over 2 bucks each at one point, available now for 0.38 last i looked, and has that beautiful scavenge and poison ability. Also Id like to point out when you max a card you create bonus collection power, for example each BCX of venari seedsmith is 20 CP, when you combine 115 to create a max card that is 2300 CP, but as you can see that card now has 2415 CP. 5% bonus CP. This adds up.

The Power of Staying the Course

If you look at my recent blogs, I had a decently long string of bad luck, which continued yesterday, but today I broke through into Gold 1 for the first time ever in my splinterlands history and completed my daily there, Ill share both yesterday and todays pre collect stats and daily chest pulls. What this illustrates to me is the power of sticking to your plan and grinding out until the Fates smile upon you and RNGesus pays you a visit. Stay the course Fam!!!
