I have been to Lau Fau Shan village again because this time of the year is an excellent place to see the sunset, and I wanted to share some of the pictures I took from my last visit.
The bridge on the horizon is called “Shenzhen Bay Bridge”. The length of this highway bridge is 5.5km., It connects the Yuen Long district of Hong Kong and the Nanshan district of Shenzhen City, Guangdong province of China and is one of the longest bridges in this area.
I have crossed that bridge by bus many times when sightseeing in China; in my case, the bus fare is around HK$11(US$1.41) because I take in Yuen Long Station and the time to cross the long bridge is less than 10 minutes, and from the last stop it takes 1 minute to the cross-border control.
I like to come to Lau Fau Shan village because the bus stop is just a few minutes from my home. It takes 15 minutes to arrive at this place, the frequency of the buses is every 15 minutes, there is an App where you can see the time the buses are coming so you need to rush or waste time waiting in the queue.
I have noticed that the heavy rains in the last few weeks have increased the sea water level; usually, the year is muddy here.
