A mistake that many of us make when we start in trading (including me) is that we look for an indicator that is so reliable that it gives us the great profitability over time without errors, so that we can enter the market with a lot of money and make them rich in a short time, but little by little we realize that trading is about a reading of many indicators, but it happens after having changed and used several indicators without the success we expect.
This happens if we use moving averages, but also if we use oscillators, trend lines, supports and resistances or just price action or fundamental analysis, as none of these can give us the absolute truth of what the market will do in the future, but they give us pieces of information that we must put together, in the same way that we do a puzzle.
Trading, but also professions such as medicine or engineering require multiple indicators to confirm that something is going to happen, because if we only see an indicator, we could make a hypothesis but that can be falsified with another indicator that tells us otherwise, and this is where knowledge enters the way to analyze and integrate each piece of information we have to put together a diagnosis, which in the case of trading refers to an idea of whether the price will rise or fall from the point where it is in reality.
Nor is it necessary to have all the indicators that exist since many tell the same information, and we only require that bit of reality once, while we need other bits of reality that give us a more complete picture, and this means having varied information and not 3 things that tell us exactly the same thing.
Great traders are able to read the market and understand where it is at the moment, but also the moments when it has changed what we thought and make a decision focused on the new reality, and this is something that is achieved when we can understand what the market is telling us and integrate it all to have the most complete picture.
Trading is a combination of art and science, having many statistical indicators but needing creativity to be able to understand each of the things that the market tells us to create something new and that can create a new piece of history, at least when they are those people who have the power to move the market.

Un error que cometemos muchos cuando comenzamos en el trading (incluyéndome) es que buscamos un indicador que sea tan confiable que nos de la gran rentabilidad a través del tiempo sin errores, para que podamos ingresar al mercado con mucho dinero y hacerlos ricos en un momento breve, pero poco a poco nos vamos dando cuenta que el trading se trata de una lectura de muchos indicadores, pero ocurre luego de haber cambiado y usado varios indicadores sin el éxito que esperamos.
Esto ocurre si usamos las medias móviles, pero también si usamos los osciladores, líneas de tendencia, soportes y resistencias o únicamente la acción del precio o análisis fundamental, ya que ninguno de estos nos puede dar la verdad absoluta de lo que va a hacer el mercado en el futuro, sino que nos dan pedazos de información que debemos juntar, de la misma forma que hacemos un rompecabezas.
El trading, pero también las profesiones como la medicina o ingeniería requieren de múltiples indicadores para poder confirmar que algo va a ocurrir, ya que si solo vemos un indicador, podríamos hacer una hipótesis pero que puede ser falseada con algún otro indicador que nos diga lo contrario, y es aquí donde ingresa el conocimiento en la forma de analizar e integrar cada pedazo de información que tenemos para lograr armar un diagnóstico, que en el caso del trading se refiere a una idea de si el precio va a subir o bajar desde el punto en que se encuentra en la realidad.
Tampoco es necesario tener todos los indicadores que existen ya que muchos dicen la misma información, y solo requerimos ese pedacito de realidad una vez, mientras que necesitamos otros pedazos de realidad que nos den una imagen más completa, y esto significa tener información variada y no 3 cosas que nos digan exactamente lo mismo.
Los grandes traders son capaces de leer el mercado y entender en qué momento se encuentra, pero también los momentos en que ha cambiado aquello que pensábamos y tomar una decisión enfocada a la nueva realidad, y esto es algo que se logra cuando podemos entender aquello que nos dice el mercado e integrarlo todo para tener la imagen más completa.
El trading es una combinación entre arte y ciencia, teniendo muchos indicadores estadísticos pero necesitando creatividad para poder entender cada una de las cosas que nos dice el mercado para poder crear algo nuevo y que puede llegar a crear un nuevo pedazo de historia, al menos cuando son aquellas personas que tienen el poder de mover el mercado.
