What's up hivers! I'm here once again to share with you my adventures exploring the catacombs of exploration stages! This time, I found myself in a deadly battle against kael the Killer!
With two keys fully charged, I was ready to face this dark adversary!
Kael's deck hints at Kael using a complete Kusaku deck, so I went with my buff Maniacs deck focused mainly on Yueyue buffing and restriction cards, alongside some other cards from the other factions. Extensive tests have shown that Yueyue cards mostly counters the Kusaku faction.
The duel started quite well with me going first.
4 turns in, things weren't looking good.
Then I drew the lovely fireball program!
Which promptly cleared the field! Well, except for the chicken egg that remains when you destroy Phoenix. Doesn't matter tho, I was looking forward to winning now!!
Only for me to swiftly get my ass handed to me 😭 I made some mistakes so embarrassing that I didn't bother recording them. I'll gladly take the memory to the grave!
With my final key, I challenged Kael again, with a not-so-good hand this time.
4 turns in again, things weren't looking good. I was surrounded on all sides with no hope of escape. Yet, I didn't despair.
I somehow managed to clear the field and finally dished out some juicy damage! I was back on track to VictoryVille!!
Only to get surrounded again. This time tho, I had my trump card in hand. A card so deadly, even Thanos quakes in his boots. This is the main reason I used this deck. A hard counter to Kusaku decks if played right, which of course I did, clearing my opponent's field.
I was finally winning!
My opponent summoned the deadly red dragon, but it was too little too late! Its fate was sealed.
The Killer was killed, how ironic!
Anyways, here ends today's adventure. I'll be back again with more heart-wrenching adventures. Until then, stay safe and drink lots of water!
