So far for me it has been all about buying the Arcade Colony token #colony, staking it and providing liquidity SWAP.HIVE/COLONY for higher APRs. This time I had some spare swap.hive and I wanted to do something different and hence the idea of buying #script token via the pools DCA here on the Dswap.Trade portal. But before I get any further its imperative to understand this token #script what's its all about?
What is SCRIPT Token All about?
In very simple terms #script token is pegged to product in Arcade Colony is be acquired by burning COLONY tokens. WE can also say that 1 #script token is accepted as $1 USD of product in the Arcade Colony ecosystem. So in all its pegged to a dollar here on the Arcade Colony platform. And now coming to the SCRIPT token utilities here are some of it.
- One can buy and sell assets from in-game shops
- Buy, sell, and rent NFTs on the Arcade Colony Marketplace
- More cases to be built into each game developed on Arcade Colony platform
Lets now have a look at some numbers tied to SCRIPT token
Total Supply: 541,544
Total Liquid: 528,180
Total Staked: 13,365
SCRIPT Price: $0.324
We have a high liquidity here and for now just 2.47% of its staked. I am not sure if right now there are staking benefits or not. But lets assume right now its not there but as soon as they kick in we could see a higher percentage of stake here and before the price skyrocket, I want to take the advantage here by grabbing some #script tokens and hence this plan to buying it from the internal market now. Here is my bid for 30 SCRIPT tokens at 1.51 #hive for each. Lets see if this bid can be executed in coming days and if this gets executed then my plan next is to have 100 liquid SCRIPT tokens with me.
The other plan here that I have is to convert some #colony tokens for SCRIPT and one can easily do so via the in Arcade platform Here. Not that I will do it immediately but just want to call out there is this option as well to acquire script token.
I will leverage this method once I have accomplished my GOAL with the #colony tokens and then have some conversions initiated. Until then its buying from the internal market or pools/market DCA.
