Hey All,
Did you read this post on the DSWAP.TRADE now offers pool swaps over time. Incase you missed reading this post then I recommended that you read it as with DSWAP one can not only trade tokens but they are also able to take advantage of Market DCA and Pools DCA. In this blog post I am going to talk about my first experience with the Market DCA.
Executing an ORDER of 10 #hive with Market DCA
The first step is to simple login to the portal Dswap.trade and head over to the Market DCA section. The above screen is the one that will appear and its pretty understandable. I must say the UI/UX experience here was great. All you need to do is enter the values, select appropriate tokens which you want to DCA, see the Market DCA summary and confirm the transaction and you are all set to executing your first market DAC. In my example here I am trying to sell SWAP.HIVE and buying the #dcity game token #sim. Yes starting with a small investment with #10 HIVE as an example and later on once I get hold of this feature will be leveraging it to my advantage.
Next comes the section where you need to enter the Market DCA Settings which is nothing but the order intervals [in minutes] the order should be executed and how many times i.e. the total time. In our example I am executing the order every 25 minutes and at max this order will be executed 10 times. Which means every 25 minutes 1 #hive is going to be invested in buying the Dcity #sim token. And once you confirm the transaction here the following DSWAP confirmation screen pops up for you to check on the market DCA details and to confirm the transaction.
As soon as the transaction is confirmed one can check on the active DCA and its history i.e. the trades which has been executed and at what price. You can also see the time the DAC trade was set which is today May 30th at 11:42 AM IST my local time. The token swaps which is SWAP.HIVE for #sim and the total amount of swap which is 10 #hive. Right now the trade is in progress and at any point in time the user has an option to cancel the trade as well. So its not like you have set the Market DCA and you cannot cancel the trade - yes you can cancel it by clicking on the "X" cross button. Did you notice the DCA History button next to DCA Active button? What is this for?
Well this is to look at the trades and the price the order are getting executed. Right now for me its showing could be some problem with the UI. But I checked it on hive-engine and here is the trade that got executed and it got me around 10K+ #sim for a HIVE. Please note there is a fee involved here as well. The platform fees is around 0.25% of SWAP.HIVE sold. So now what next? Well to be honest, I plan to leverage this Market DCA and Pools DCA more often. I am yet to explore Pools DCA so next will be looking into it in more details. So stay tuned for the next update on Pools DCA...
