Saekyung Condominium is our go-to airbnb place whenever we want a place to sleep for the night when we visit Cebu City.
This condo though is not in Cebu City rather this is in Lapu-lapu City. We used to live here in a small barangay in Suba Basbas Lapu-lapu therefore we have a lot of friends and acquaintances.
The room we got was ₱1,800 for three people and it was perfect for the three of us. I love that we can cook and do laundry inside the unit. It was indeed so convenient.
The unit was under phase 305 so before we walked in, my son striked a pose.
The room key was left at the mail box therefore we just got it and logged into the building's visitors' log sheet. It was so convenient. We then went up to the 16th floor to get into our unit.
There was just one queen-sized bed therefore the extra person had to slee on an extra matress at the floor. I slept beside my son and my partner slept at the floor.
The host offered us an amenity kit with tooth brush, tooth paste, shampoo and soap inside. It was perfect for those who forgot to bring personal hygiene kits but if not, there is also a 7/11 inside the condominium grounds.
What we love most is the strong wifi connection and the television had a usable Netflix account open which we also watched movies the entire night.
We enjoyed the night and first thing in the morning, we went to Suba Basbas where we used to live to meet my son's friends who were our former neighbors.
June 2024
This was a throwback photo of when we left our apartment June of 2024 and my son had a photo with our former neighbors who became his friends.
Today, we decided to treat them out and we invited them to have a swim at the condominium since it was just near the place where we used to live, it was a five-minute drive.
We fetched them and brought them to Jollibee Babag Lapu-lapu Branch so they can have lunch with us. My son was so happy to be reunited with his friends.
We used to live here when I was still working as a call center agent and my partner as a Maxim motorcycle taxi driver. But since I was set to start my teaching work last August of 2024, we decided to go home in the province and relocate to Tuburan where I am now working as a public school teacher.
These kids used to be my son's playmates and they had so many good times and shared so many fond memories. That's why these children will always have a special place in my heart also.
After we ate lunch at Jollibee Babag Branch, we then headed to Saekyung so they could swim at the pool.
They had so much fun swimming at the pool. But, to my surprise the condominium already transferred all their tables and chairs at the basketball ground area at the back of the parking lot and they could not eat around the pool area, and they could not also get inside our room so we decided to set up our camping table and camping chairs at the back of our car so they can enjoy their foods there.
Whenever they felt hungry or thirsty, they'll just have to head to our car and help theirselves up.
It was just a two days-one night stay so after their swim, we went home. We dropped them off their houses, then we went home straight to Tuburan where we are currently living now.
It was such a happy experience being able to treat the children and let them experience swimming at the condominium. Hopefully I made them all happy. My son is happy. I am too.
