En mi motivada vida, que emprendo con audacia por el rumbo de la aventura, en esta oportunidad les traigo la narrativa de mis rutas por las calles y avenidas de Boa Vista, Roraima RR. Es gratificante salir de mi hogar y encontrarme con nuevos acontecimientos. El ambiente en esta región ecuatorial es sorprendentemente encantador. Después de una repentina y abundante lluvia con gruesas nubes, el cielo se despeja, el sol surge en el firmamento y queda un calor soporífero en el ambiente de este sector de la ciudad.
In my motivated life, which I boldly embark on an adventurous course, this time I bring you the narrative of my routes through the streets and avenues of Boa Vista, Roraima RR. It is gratifying to leave my home and encounter new events. The atmosphere in this equatorial region is surprisingly charming. After a sudden heavy rain with thick clouds, the sky clears, the sun rises in the sky and a soporific warmth remains in the atmosphere of this part of the city.
Ahora mismo, estoy en la parada del autobús en la avenida Atíde Teive, esperando que haga su parada para trasladarme al centro de la ciudad. Allí, en la Casa de Caridad “Papa Francisco”, continuaré el curso sobre Conceptos de Ambiente y Pertenencia, y Cuidado de Adultos Mayores y Personas con Discapacidad.
Right now, I am at the bus stop on Avenida Atíde Teive, waiting for the bus to make its stop to take me to the city centre. There, at the ‘Papa Francisco’ Charity House, I will continue the course on Concepts of Environment and Belonging, and Care for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities.
Estas son actividades planificadas para tres meses en la sede de Cáritas, como se le conoce en el contexto de los migrantes venezolanos en Boa Vista. Es una casa antigua, acondicionada con esmero, y se siente un ambiente civilizado en la sala donde se imparte el curso. En especial, me agrada asistir porque me esfuerzo en manejar el interesante idioma portugués de Brasil.
These are activities planned for three months in the headquarters of Caritas, as it is known in the context of Venezuelan migrants in Boa Vista. It is an old house, carefully furnished, and there is a civilised atmosphere in the room where the course is held. I particularly enjoy attending the course because I am making an effort to master the interesting Brazilian Portuguese language.
El curso está regido por la Universidad Federal de Roraima, a través de la Pro Rectoría de Asuntos Estudiantiles y Extensión (PRAE), el Centro de Educación, y el Curso de Psicología, con la vinculación de la Asociación Servicio Pastoral del Migrante - Diócesis de Roraima.
The course is run by the Federal University of Roraima, through the Prorectory of Student Affairs and Extension (PRAE), the Education Centre, and the Psychology Course, with the support of the Migrant Pastoral Service Association - Diocese of Roraima.
Después de informarme, comprendo que es un curso de psicología para migrantes, dirigido a personas de la tercera edad o en situación de riesgo. Es un curso de crecimiento personal al que he asistido durante seis miércoles consecutivos. Los temas son especiales y, por supuesto, son facilitados por personal universitario con un alto nivel académico y científico.
After getting information, I understand that it is a psychology course for migrants, aimed at the elderly or people at risk. It is a personal growth course that I have attended for six consecutive Wednesdays. The topics are special and, of course, facilitated by university staff with a high academic and scientific level.
Logro comprender que el contenido educativo maneja un lenguaje técnico. Me gusta porque me sintonizo con delicada prudencia en el lenguaje y el discurso académico de la ciencia de la conducta humana. Además, comparto con nuevas personas migrantes y el cuerpo docente que acompaña el aula de Psicología.
I manage to understand that the educational content uses technical language. I like it because I tune into the language and academic discourse of the science of human behaviour with delicate prudence. In addition, I share with new migrants and the faculty that accompanies the psychology classroom.
Esta experiencia reafirma mi convicción sobre la importancia de construir comunidades más inclusivas y empáticas. Los invito a cada uno a buscar oportunidades para contribuir a este valioso propósito en su día a día. ¡Hasta la próxima aventura!
