There is a game that has become popular on social media in recent days. I don't know if it's popular in every country, but it's quite popular in Turkey. I'll explain why in this post. If you're interested in a referee game that you can play on your phone, keep reading this post.

First, let me talk about why this game is popular. A few popular social media accounts shared videos about this game. They were managing the matches of their favorite teams and constantly showing red cards to teams they didn't like. Since football is the most popular sport in Turkey and football games are always popular in the gaming world, I wasn't surprised that this game became popular.

You start the game as a referee in the lowest league. You have to manage matches of teams you’ve never heard of before. During the match, you always have to stay close to where the ball is—this both increases your rating and helps you earn gold. If you stay too far from where the ball is, you might miss important positions. As you can see, I’m right where the ball is, lol.

In the game, there are sometimes situations where you have to make a decision. When you approach the situation, you prepare to observe it. If you miss the situation, it’s considered that you’ve let the advantage go, and this is usually a wrong decision.

In this position, the player in the purple jersey is clearly kicking the opponent. I will show him a red card and give the opponent a free kick. To play the game, you need to know a bit about soccer. You need to know which fouls warrant a yellow card and which ones warrant a red card. You may need to watch some positions from different angles. Because a position that is a foul from one angle may not be a foul from another angle. The same applies to offside positions. By the way, I'm sorry the visuals are vertical, but in most mobile games, the visuals are vertical, and there's nothing I can do about it.

After completing the match, you can view the referee observer's evaluations. That is, which positions you made incorrect decisions on and which positions you made correct decisions on. You can also view your total score. 8.8 out of 10 isn't bad at all. It's like getting an 88 out of 100 on an exam. A+!

Before the match, you need to train to perform better in the match. You do speed, endurance, and focus training. The one I dislike the most is the endurance training you saw in the first photo. You need to click on the screen when the arrow is in the green zone, but this is much harder than it sounds. I start off well, but by the end of the training, I always make mistakes.

One of the things that makes the game fun is betting. Yes, it's illegal in real life, but you can do it in the game. For example, I predict there will be one penalty in this match. If there are no penalties or two penalties in the match, I lose, but if there is one penalty, I'll multiply my money by 2.68. It's up to me to give just one penalty, lol. I haven't been very successful with betting because I try to manage the matches fairly. If I give a penalty in a situation where there shouldn't be one at the start of the match, I shouldn't give a penalty in a situation where there should be one later on. That's not my style.

At the end of each season, you manage a special match. The match I'm about to manage is between two of the country's top four teams. Plus, it's a cup final.

In such matches, even the stadium looks different from the others.

Each league has a specific point threshold. For example, to move from the third league to the second league, my average rating must be above 6.5. My rating is 8.2, which is well above the threshold, so I have earned the right to move up to the next league.

Finally, regarding my overall thoughts on the game, I think it's a very fun game. The only issue is that you can't play it without an internet connection, and you have to watch a short ad during halftime. If you don't want to watch the ads, you have to pay a certain fee. In the supermarket simulator game, there was no such requirement, but even though a lot of time has passed, they still haven't added the shelf stacker to the game.

Thank you for reading. Have you heard of this game before? Or are you considering trying it? Don’t forget to share your thoughts in the comments. See you in the next post!
