Happy and blessed day, a pleasure to be once again with you, this time I share with you a quick recipe to prepare it is a delicious and crunchy potato croquettes and sardines very easy to make and ideal to enjoy at lunch or dinner as these croquettes are very complete and full of nutrients and also serves as appetizers at meetings or parties here I leave the step by step of this simple recipe.
- 1 sardina de lata
- 2 papas
- 1 huevo
- Harina de maíz
- 1 cebollín
- 2 ajíes dulces
- Cilantro
- 1/2 cucharadita de ajo
- Sal y pimienta al gusto
- Aceite vegetal
- 1 canned sardine
- 2 potatoes
- 1 egg
- Corn flour
- 1 scallion
- 2 sweet peppers
- Cilantro
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil
Para preparar esta croquetas lo primero que haremos es lavar, pelar y cortar en cubos las papas y la ponemos a cocinar, yo las puse al vapor, pero si lo prefieren pueden sancocharlas; al ablandar la trituramos para preparar un puré y dejamos enfriar; lavamos y picamos finamente la cebolla, los ajíes y el cilantro.
To prepare this croquettes the first thing to do is to wash, peel and cut into cubes the potatoes and put them to cook, I put them steamed, but if you prefer you can boil them; when they are soft, mash them to prepare a puree and let them cool; wash and finely chop the onion, peppers and cilantro.
In a bowl place the sardines already drained and remove the backbone and grind, then add the puree, chives, chili bell pepper and cilantro, add salt, garlic powder and pepper and finally add the egg.
Mix, add three tablespoons of corn flour and knead to integrate the ingredients well and form a homogeneous dough.
We take portions form balls and give them the desired shape and size, we pass them through corn flour and in a pan with enough hot oil we put them to fry and turn them over with the help of a spatula to brown on the other side, remove from heat and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess fat and so on until all of them are fried, we can also cook them in the oven.
Once the croquettes are ready, serve them hot with a sauce of your preference or with a salad.
