Hello my dear Hive friends! I'm back! It's me again, your cutie blogger from the Philippines, @itsmejustine. How are you all doing? I hope you're doing well. I'm so happy that this is my fourth blog post, and I'm thrilled you all continue to read my writings. This is my 4th day blogging, and I'm ready to share again!
Remember those carefree summer days? This blog post will take you right back there.
Did everyone get to swim in the sea this summer? Wow! All I can say is, "I wish I could have too, :'(." "No big ocean adventure this year, just our little backyard pool. But those memories? Those are priceless.” This was captured during our final midterm exams. I think I mentioned this in my introductory blog."My friends? They're my ultimate stress busters! Seriously, hanging out with them is like magic. So before midterms, we were already plotting our post-exam pool party—a celebration of surviving the beast!" So, while we were taking the exams, instead of focusing on the exam itself, hahaha, our minds were echoing with excitement about swimming. Exams first, then fun.
There's really nothing like the feeling after exams. We were so happy because we survived our hell week. You can see it in the picture—our huge smiles, especially the one holding the phone. She's one of my best friends, always there when we need someone. You might be wondering why we call it "hell week" during exams? Well, we really do call it that because some of us couldn't sleep properly, fearing we'd fail the exams, and of course, the major we chose is notoriously difficult. HAHAHA. Some of us even went to class without eating because we were so nervous about the exams. But we managed to pull through.
The night before we left for our trip, we were already discussing what we should bring. Some people were bringing rice, junk food, sweet potato fries (camote cue), viands, and of course, we couldn't forget the Coke. Because Coke is life! HAHAHAHAHA.
I bounced out of bed the next morning! I'm still shocked my mom said yes to me going swimming at the Guadalupe (Motmot) pool!. I can't even describe how happy I felt at that moment; I told myself I was going to have fun.
OMG! The motor ride was insane! I was so incredibly excited! Who wouldn't be, right? Swimming with my best friends? It was going to be amazing! I was practically bursting with happiness; just being with them made everything feel perfect. We'd just finished exams – let's just say we pretty much forgot about the scores and decided to focus on having fun instead. But I was pretty confident I'd do okay – I studied hard, you know?
This is the funniest part! I got off the Motorcycle, and before I could even pay the driver, my friends were all, "Guess what?! Chooks-to-go is closed! It's only 6 am!" So we waited, like, a whole hour for breakfast. It was totally worth it though, because, seriously, no breakfast meant no swimming!
This was taken at the Guadalupe (Motmot) swimming pool.
Writing this blog post is a total downer. It's making me miss my friends so much. Remember all those crazy times we had? The noise, the laughter...I miss it all. This summer's been totally lame because we haven't hung out as much. Some people had to head back to their hometowns, others got busy with their own stuff – you know how it is.
And yeah, choose your friends wisely! Real friends are there for you, thick and thin. A few real friends are way better than a bunch of fake ones, right? Just be nice and thoughtful to each other – that's all that matters. Let's hang out soon!
I'm totally the friend everyone comes to when they need a listening ear – patient, adaptable, and always there. It's kinda funny, because I'm the youngest in the group! 😉
So, what's YOUR friend style? Hit me up in the comments! 😊
That's it for today's blog my Hive friends! Thanks for reading my blog. I can't wait to see your comments! I'm so excited! Ehehehehe!
