Hello, my dear Hivers!
Now, I want to share with you what we’ve been up to and how we handled stress, especially during these times when college life is full of intense activities and project work.
It was after our first subject when my friends Keziah and Angelie planned that we’d go for a food trip and grill some fish.
When they told us about it, we immediately nodded in agreement, no second thoughts. We were also really eager to go out and relax our minds from the stressful college life.
They told us around 11 AM that we would go to Angelie’s place for our food trip, so it was probably going to be our lunch. However, since we had an important meeting at 1 PM, we decided to just stay at school from 11 to 1 PM, and until whenever the meeting would end. So yes, we knew we’d be having a late lunch because we wanted to eat together.
So, we remained at school for a couple of hours till it turned out to be 1 PM.
Then, we proceed in the meeting room.
When we arrived, there are quite few students in the room since some of them still having lunch. Minutes later while waiting for the others I am starting to feel very dizzy. Honestly, I'm not used to skipping meals, especially lunch. Knowing I am strictly into eating on time, Angelie asked if I was okay and that I should just eat my rice and viand. I couldn't hold back any longer, so I ate.
After I finished eating, I felt so much better. I told them, “Hey, I already ate, okay? But I’ll still come with you later,” and we all laughed.
After our meeting, we went to Angelie’s house. We just rode a tricycle to get there.
Turns out her house is in an inner area, so the tricycle driver dropped us off at the corner. But that was okay because her place wasn’t that far, so we just walked to her house.
What’s even better is that the beach is close to her home.
Anyway, we each chipped in 50 pesos for the food and rice. Lesly and Justin were the ones who bought the items since they had a motorcycle, so it was convenient for them.
When we arrived at Angelie’s house, we immediately set out the spices, fish, and other ingredients we needed to cook our dishes.
Oh, and we also had some lato (sea grapes/seaweed) with us.
That’s all for this blog for now, my dear Hivers! Thank you for reading!
