Hi there, everyone! It’s me, Rhea, again. So today, I want to share a delicious recipe called Iskabitsi (sweet and sour recipe) that my father thought me.

One Saturday morning, my father was busy cooking for our lunch. Since he’s so busy, i immediately went to my father and told him that I wanted to help him. My father nodded his head and told me to get chopping board and knife. Since he already cooked the fish he said that maybe I should cook the sauce for the sweet and sour fish. And since I wanted to help my father I immediately started to prepare the ingredients for it.

These are the Ingredients for the Sweet and sour fish:

Ginger (slice into thin strips)
Carrots (slice into thin strips)
Bell pepper (slice into thin strips)
Pineapple chunks
Soy sauce
Vinegar
Minced Onion
Ketchup
Salt and pepper
Sugar (to taste)
Fish (mamsa)

Procedure:

First let’s preheat the pan and add some oil if the pan has been hot or if it’s boiling. After adding oil to the pan, I added the minced onion and I mixed it after.

After done mixing the onion, I added the thin strips of ginger, bell peppers, and the carrots to the pan. I mixed it well so it doesn’t stick to the pan.

After mixing the thin strips of ginger, bell peppers, and the carrots to the pan, I added some small amount of soy sauce and vinegar to the pan. I am making sure that the taste must be balanced.

I mixed it well and add some little sugar and msg to balance the taste.

After mixing, I told my father to taste test it since can’t trust my own cooking skills.

My father said that it is yummy and perfect. After that, I poured the sauce into the fried fish.
