Hey, my fellow foodies of hive! It's a sunny afternoon here in our city and since we have some mango fruit, my siblings and I decided to make mango Graham ice candy for dessert.

Growing up, one of my childhood memories is making these ice candy every summer time. Sometimes we also make ice candy in avocado flavor.

Ingredients:

. 6 ripe mangoes in cubes
. 6 cans of evaporated milk
. 1/2 can of condensed milk
. Crushed Graham biscuit

Simply mix them all together and pack in an ice candy plastic.

Feel free to create your own measurements, but as a family who's very health conscious, we opted to lessen the condensed milk since the mango and Graham is already sweet.

The production

The most tedious part in making the ice candy is packing them in plastic. To be efficient, we assigned one person whose task is only to open the plastic ready to be filled in. Another person shall estimately place the liquid dessert into the plastic and make sure it's not too much nor too little. Lastly, my task, is to wrap each ice candy tightly.

We only made less than 50 pieces as it's already late at night. Whereas back in the day, we would make almost a hundred pieces just for our consumption. That's how much we love ice candy.

This is one of the activities we consider as our bonding moment. My siblings and I don't usually go out together and we'd rather spend time at home when it's just me and my siblings.

I'm looking forward to more ice candy making this summer time. Or maybe we'll upgrade our dessert to halo-halo (shaved ice)?

That's it fo today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

With love, Jane
