I had a truly awesome Mother’s Day, starting with a family brunch. Then my kids and future son-in-law helped me with some mulching, planting and cleaning my backyard pond. A busy day!
And of course all those projects were good for getting steps.
I never manage to record all of them because my phone is the device that records them, which means it must be in a pocket. And I sometimes forget!
I neglected to get pictures of the work party, except this one of my daughter’s fiancé, rocking the American Gothic look.
After dark, I went to visit my silly little pond. It’s very small, yet it makes me ridiculously happy. I love the sound of the bubbling fountain and the floating flowers and water hyacinths. I always have lights near the pond, which of course attract bugs, which then attract frogs. Their joyful ribbeting at night makes me smile.
Thank you for visiting!!
