There are two episodes left to air before the end of the first season, but for me it is already among the best new series of this year and yesterday I learned from the news that it has been renewed. The series has worked and has been well received by audiences and critics alike. Very well deserved, it is a very entertaining series and I think it will be a strong contender in the awards season.
From the very first episode I loved it. Flat Sequences. Fast paced. Situations that border on the absurd, but perhaps have a lot of reality in the world of Hollywood. I have fun with every episode. Just seeing the master Scorsese in episode one with everything raised in that chapter, leads to a hilarious scene that sets the overall tone of the series.
The story revolves around Matt Remick, a movie mecca executive who rises to become studio head of the Continental production company. A man who loves movies, who has a vision of returning to the great cinema that has marked the history of Hollywood, but who must give in to what the studio owners and the people around him want. The goal is to make money, doing whatever bullshit they can think of, the movie show.
Quedan dos episodios por emitir antes de que termine la primera temporada, pero para mí ya está entre las mejores series nuevas de este año y ayer me enteré por las noticias de que ha sido renovada. La serie ha funcionado y ha obtenido una buena acogida por parte del público y de la crítica. Muy merecido, es una serie muy entretenida y creo que será una fuerte contendiente en la temporada de premios.
Desde el primer episodio me encantó. Planos Secuencias. Ritmo acelerado. Situaciones que rozan lo absurdo, pero que quizás tienen mucho de realidad en el mundo de Hollywood. Me divierto con cada episodio. Solo ver al maestro Scorsese en el episodio uno con todo lo planteado en ese capitulo, da lugar a una escena hilarante que marca el tono general de la serie.
La historia gira en torno a Matt Remick, un ejecutivo de la meca del cine que asciende hasta convertirse en jefe de estudio de la productora Continental. Un hombre que ama el cine, que tiene la visión de volver al gran cine que ha marcado la historia de Hollywood, pero que debe ceder a lo que quieren los dueños del estudio y la gente que le rodea. El objetivo es ganar dinero, haciendo cualquier gilipollez que se les ocurra, el cine espectáculo.

During each episode the entanglements, conflicts and funny, bizarre and absurd situations will amuse us in a big way. The cameos of these stars playing themselves is another of the series' hooks for the viewer, who also loves the seventh art, to enjoy enormously.
Seth Rogen stars and is also one of the creators of the series. He is an actor that I find unbearable in several of his films, but I have also enjoyed him in other films and series in which he has participated. In this opportunity, his voice style, I find perfect to play Matt, but it is the actor Ike Barinholtz who plays the other studio executive, Sal Saperstein, friend and pate of Matt's team. Great character who is a lot of fun.
I wouldn't know what my favorite episode is, I like all the ones I've seen. This week's was set at the Golden Globes. The second one was excellent, as was the first one. The one with the noir tone I also liked. The casting one may also be among the best, but all the craziness about inclusion and fear of racism seems like a joke when you see it, but it's very possible it happens in reality.
Even if you're not a movie buff, you'll love the series. There are two episodes left to finish this first batch of episodes. I recommend it. You must watch it.

Durante cada episodio los enredos, conflictos y situaciones divertidas, bizarras y absurdas nos divertirán a lo grande. Sólo pensar en lo estúpido que suena que se encargue hacer una película basada en la bebida Kool Aid, nos hará reír, pero si lo pensamos bien, es una idea que puede haber sido planeada en algún momento por un estudio en la vida real. Si tenemos películas sobre juegos de mesa, muñecas Barbie, etc., ¿por qué no una película sobre Kool Aid?
Rivalidades, hipocresía, choques de egos, orgullo, divismo, egocentrismo, locura. Las estrellas invitadas, directores, actrices, actores, hacen fiesta burlándose de sí mismos y de la propia industria. Los cameos de estas estrellas interpretándose a sí mismas es otro de los ganchos de la serie para que el espectador que también ama el séptimo arte, disfrute enormemente.
Seth Rogen protagoniza y es también uno de los creadores de la serie. Es un actor que me resulta insoportable en varias de sus películas, pero también lo he disfrutado en otras películas y series en las que ha participado. En esta oportunidad, su estilo de voz, me parece perfecto para interpretar a Matt, pero es el actor Ike Barinholtz quien interpreta al otro ejecutivo del estudio, Sal Saperstein, amigo y pate del equipo de Matt. Gran personaje que es muy divertido.
No sabría decir cuál es mi episodio favorito, me gustan todos los que he visto. El de esta semana estaba ambientado en los Globos de Oro. El segundo fue excelente, al igual que el primero. El del tono noir también me ha gustado. El del casting también puede estar entre los mejores, pero toda la locura sobre la inclusión y el miedo al racismo parece una broma cuando lo ves, pero es muy posible que ocurra en la realidad.
Aunque no seas un cinéfilo, la serie te encantará. Quedan dos episodios para terminar esta primera tanda de cap ítulos. Te la recomiendo. Debes verla.
