Throughout his history, ArgusX grew accustomed to attention. Not an attention seeker himself, he shied away. His facial features didn't match his physique.
Fearing rejection from those who believed him harmful to humanity, he was reluctant to put himself out there but personally and professionally. Finally, the humanitarian instinct in him won out. He agreed to visit other worlds in order to bring about change in attitudes toward those unlike themselves. An ambassador for diversity and change.
Before his arrival on Earth, word had already spread of the mysterious stranger from the outer realm who would grace our planet with his wisdom and knowledge.
His stay wasn't prolonged. In fact, immediately after the seminar, he held a brief news conference, then left without a proper human Earth adieu.
But he'll never be forgotten.
Clad in pure silver, ArgusX towered over all he surveyed, standing over eight foot tall. His body, a mold of elements we know as a muscular skeleton, a symmetry of stamina and strength in which three coverlet armor shields extended from the shoulders out over his long arms. With an elongated head and deep sunken rectangular eye sockets, his gaze could scan the entire perimeter behind a thin, permanent shield meant to protect against the elements of diverse atmospheres.
A narrow jaw jutted out prominently attached to an equally elongated muscular neck. His shoulders measured ten feet across. Perhaps to support the massive head.
Intimidating was the only assessment humans could agree upon. Why? they reasoned.
Because he's beyond human. And as humans would say, "with a face only a mother could love." But one was drawn to it hoping to see beyond the mask.
"There's definitely something there" others would write from a different century as he commanded the sea as well as the sky." Nothing trivial to be overlooked. We'll get to the bottom of it, they all vowed.
Female species from all over the expanse voted him the "Most Eligible Universal Bachelor". Of course, none had seen who else was waiting in the wings to be exposed to the world.
What was his appeal, you may ask. The answer is simple. He looked like no one and everyone.
No comparison.
For my current mixed media project, I wanted to participate in a new themed contest titled "Beyond Human" in the Alien Art Hive Community organized by @ezuntimmy. According to the announcement post, the stated purpose of contest is to boost engagement in the community and also draw inspiration from each other.
As stated in the contest post, for each round, one theme will be given to create your art based on that theme. The works will be judged and winners announced the next day (process of announcement subject to change depending on certain factors), with a new theme announced the following week.
This week's theme: Create-A-Creature
For this week, according to the contest post, participants are to create any form of alien character of their choice. The theme is a broad theme and may cover subjects like gods, beast, aliens, goblins, orcs, elfs, mythological creatures etc. Feel free to go wild with your concept, use any style or medium of your choice. I knew I wanted to call upon a stable diffusion program to create the creature, so enlisted StarryAI. Although the face on the creature leaves a lot to the imagination as to what's underneath, I love the six pack he sports.

With the stable diffusion image, all was needed was to surround him with lovely female admirers and a simulated universe as a backdrop. Below are the images I included in my theme.

To blend the various type images, I utilized Canva, my design program. I leave with you my procedures in pictures. I then added layers of elements in accordance with my upgraded Annual Pro Membership that includes tools to remove backgrounds, resize, filter, duplicate, and reposition items as required. Perhaps of all the tools, the ability to remove backgrounds thereby creating transparencies of the images is crucial to the blending process.
