This has been a time of Star Wars: the Old Republic!
I've been smashing it out over the past couple of weeks - reliving the life of my Sith Inquisitor. Only this time in a Neutral-Aligned capacity. My 'main' Inquisitor is actually pure light side. It amuses me. A light side Sith.
Anyway. Neutral-aligned for this little lady.
Last week I completed her class story and prepared to face Revan, to end his quest of re-awakening the Emperor.
Of course, my Sithy defeated him alongside her compatriots. But, of course, they didn't stop the Emperor from re-awakening. Dire days were ahead.
The Emperor sucked all the life out of Ziost. Both Republic and Imperial forces joined together to hunt down the Emperor to make him pay for what he had done...
His son stole the killing blow from my little lady, then captured her, and froze her in carbonite... for five years!
Every time I fought Arcann, the Emperor's son, I tried to get cool screenshots of their battles.
It never really turned out as planned. These two were the best ones, and honestly, they're terrible. XD I need a pause in the cutscenes so I can time things how I want them!
As you can see from the screenshot above, I settled on Theron romance-wise. Alas, I know that there is opportunity to kill him in future days as he plays double-agent and breaks your trust.
I guess that will be my deciding finisher.
Will my little Sith lady forgive Future Theron, force-less son of a Jedi Grandmaster... or will she smite him down, angered by his betrayal, then find comfort with Arcann, powerful son of the late Sith Emperor.
Honestly - it depends on my light side/dark side points at that point in time, when it arrives.
I'm back to neutral, though my lady leans towards the light-side more often than I want to. So I have to make harsh decisions to bring her back to that line of neither dark or light. If the NPCs ever gained awareness, they'd think she was bipolar as hell. I guess that makes a good Sith? haha.
Due to that need to stay on the cusp of neutrality - my Sithy is now the new Empress of the once Eternal Fleet, when she could have been a protector of the peace.
Gotta do what one's gotta do. She always wanted to rule over the masses anyway.
We now approach the end of what I know and the beginning of new content.
Approach.
We're not quite there yet. Once I do this last bit of storyline, I'll at last be at the beginning of Onslaught. Admittedly, I did do a little of Onslaught back in the day, but I don't remember it. Something about a Jedi Temple and some artifacts or something. I only did the first chapter or whatever, and then got bored waiting for the next chapter.
Actually, while we're talking about Chapters - so, last time I played this, I whinged and complained about The Purple Button. Instead of immersing oneself into the game, there was a Launch button that teleported you around.
Now, instead, I find the game autoplaying each chapter. Which keeps it more cohesive and more like a movie I'm a part of, which is nice. However, it's hard to tell when I can exit the game. It feels like you have no choice but to GOGOGO. KEEP GOING.
I like it. But I don't like it.
There's no down time. No chance to just chill, give gifts to companions, do other things. So now I'm looking forward to reaching the end of the game, not just so I'm caught up on the story and my people, but so I can actually do other things too.
The game has so much to do, and I can't do it because I'm go-go-go'ing. xD
Hell, there was no time or right moment to speak to all the Alliance Advisors and recruit various companions to my cause.
Alas, I'll have to backtrack once I'm able, just so I have all my Crew Skill Slaves working for me.
